Passing by, we accidentally found this place. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very kind, attentive, and professional. The owner accommodated my off-menu requests without a second thought. The dishes were tasty, authentic, and very fresh. The recommended wine and liqueurs were delicious. I would go back every night! Despite the busy day, we were served attentively by very kind people. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is also a pleasant place to eat. We'll definitely be back.

Very good food, especially the meat and the wonderful lamb, shame about the testaroli with pesto which wasn't pesto but a sort of basil emulsion... overall a bit expensive

We stayed in the area and had dinner at this trattoria. The staff was very kind and guided us over the phone to the location. Excellent food and good wine. Thank you.

During Medievalis, which we've been going to for 16 years, it started raining, and the tables at the various food outlets were quite unusable. Luckily, we found a table at this restaurant (which we'd tried several years ago and had fond memories of), and the evening was saved! Spending very little more than at the various "medieval taverns" scattered around town (festival-style), we were served quickly and courteously! Our only complaint was the rather small portions.

09/11/2025: A wonderful experience. Everything tasted amazing.
04/08/2025: A charming location, nestled on a hill among vineyards and orchards, with a terrace overlooking the sea from Bocca di Magra to Versilia. Simple, traditional cuisine, a few dishes but with just the right flavors. The focaccia with the cutting board was excellent. We followed it with tordelli massesi and tagliatelle with mushrooms, typical dishes of the Massa area. Everything is homemade, as are the desserts, where a few more options would have been appreciated. The service is welcoming and attentive, and Gaia entertains guests with kindness, courtesy, and professionalism! We spent a wonderful evening enjoying good food!
