Recommended by two people, unfortunately not a great choice. We ordered a Florentine steak for four, supposedly 1.4kg, but unfortunately I fear it wasn't exactly the right amount. On top of that, the meat was tough and stringy, and the inside was cold and not rare as we'd asked for; it almost seemed like it had been microwaved. It must have been a bad night, but I wouldn't go back.

Amazing atmosphere. A family business where you can see the work of three generations. The restaurant has a Michelin star for 2018. Honest home-cooked food. The best was the old man who served us. At first it seemed like there was no chance he would remember the order, but he delivered everything quickly and accurately. A very nice gentleman. Thank you for the great food and amazing atmosphere.

The cashier is rude, but the food is excellent and the service was excellent. But I don't think I'll be back because the cashier—I don't know if the owner is the one—isn't very polite.

Locale antico ma vivo e dinamico in piazza del mercato. Ottimo servizio malgrado il locale fosse strapieno. Piatti tradizionali senesi con, tra gli altri, bistecca alla brace e fettunta. Il cameriere di sala rapido e sorridente. Prezzi contenuti per la qualità fornita.

19/07/2025: We were staying not far from this restaurant and really enjoyed it. Beautiful place, family-run and simple. Varied menu, typically local. Pasta and pizzas (be careful, not every day). Friendly service. Excellent dishes (superb pasta with wild boar ragu). Not bad pastries either. Very affordable prices.
05/07/2025: Excellent Otani food. The owner of the restaurant is kind and courteous. Definitely a place to return to.

10/09/2025: The atmosphere is modern and welcoming. Unfortunately, we had to eat indoors due to the heavy rain, but we still had a great time. The owners were very kind, and the food (bruschetta with pecorino, honey, and walnuts, saffron and pecorino risotto, Livorno-style cod) and wine were delicious. We found the price more than fair. We were very satisfied.
25/08/2025: It certainly wasn't the best pici all'aglione I've ever eaten, but the atmosphere is nice, and the staff is courteous and friendly. The charcuterie and cheese platter is excellent.
