Nice stop during the trip! A rustic style restaurant offering homemade cuisine... the very kind owner suggested fresh fish dishes and typical local appetizers... all excellent!

We had the pleasure of having lunch here after my brother was sworn in as Carabiniere. Our positive experience began on the phone, when the kindness of the owner who accepted our reservation pleasantly surprised us, especially after having phoned many other restaurants and we were rudely rejected because everything was full (12 people on the day of the Alumni oath RC Carabinieri). As soon as we arrived we were greeted in the friendliest way possible and were immediately seated. We took the typical Calabrian appetizers, which in an explosion of flavors stole our hearts and which consisted of typical cured meats and cheeses, fried foods in batter, olives and mushrooms in oil of indescribable goodness. We tasted the nduja warmed up on the spot at the table and the house-produced spicy oil, and then continued with the first course. The menu of the day offered paccheri with ragù and mushrooms, scialatiell with fresh swordfish and spaghetti with mussels. I ate the paccheri with pork and veal ragout which were so good that I wanted to live nearby just to be able to indulge in this treat more often. My relatives even said they wanted to take another trip to Calabria just to come and eat here again! Along with the coffee we were offered a very welcome chocolate. For the entire duration of the lunch the owner advised us on the choices, explained the dishes in detail and joked cheerfully with the more prankster guests. Furthermore, despite the infernal heat, the room was very comfortable thanks to the presence of a good air conditioner set to the perfect temperature. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Consigliato da un collega di lavoro, abbiamo pranzato in questa piccola trattoria (veramente) tipica, seguendo i suggerimenti dei gestori: prima un favoloso antipasto tipico calabrese, un mix di ottimi salumi e formaggi vari, oltre alla nduja, poi una bistecca di tonno fantastica. Prezzo non elevato.

Personale gentile e un pranzo davvero ottimo. Calamaro ripieno a dir poco superlativo (complimenti allo chef !) e radicchio arrostito con un ottimo condimento. Luogo semplice ed essenziale nel quale si assaporano la genuinità dei piatti. Lo consiglio e si merita il massimo nel rapporto qualità/prezzo.
