Antica Trattoria Donna Carmela In Pioltello

On Friday evening, after a large conference, having failed to eat or find anything good, we chose this Neapolitan restaurant, which I remembered from my time working in the area. There was no room, it was packed and had reservations, but the owner, recognizing it as one of the three, did everything he could to accommodate us... he rushed the dishes from one table to the next. We also ate the truly delicious pizza, soft and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. My heartfelt compliments for the professionalism and hospitality.

Donna Carmela was a pleasant surprise: located on Strada Padana Superiore, the restaurant features rustic decor, very warm and welcoming. The entrance is beautiful, with the cash register facing the vestibule. The service was friendly but very attentive. We ordered a Marinara, a Margherita, and a Regina (with cherry tomatoes). All three pizzas absolutely lived up to expectations, in keeping with the standards of authentic Neapolitan pizza (the classic kind, not the "wheel and cart" style). The dough is flavorful, soft, and fragrant, and proved highly digestible; the ingredients are good quality; and the cooking was perfect. The bill, which included three panaches, a zeppola di San Giuseppe, and two coffees, was reasonable. We will certainly return to sample the traditional Neapolitan dishes offered by the trattoria.

The first courses were good, the pizza was top notch, the service was truly excellent.

I went for lunch for a birthday on Sunday, February 8th. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean. The service was friendly and attentive, and the dishes we enjoyed (Donna Rosa appetizer, Cuoppo, gnocchi alla sorrentina, calamarata, and torta della nonna) were truly delicious. We left the table satisfied, but not weighed down. We'll definitely be back to try the pizzas. Excellent value for money!

For family reasons, I come to this restaurant/pizzeria two or three times a year with my siblings and husband. We're very fond of it, and we've always had good food. The place was welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful. It's worth stopping by and trying it yourself if you're looking for something simple, whether fish or meat. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even the pizza are good. I highly recommend it. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

The pizza is the best in the area, just walk in and you can smell that aroma that is now rare, warm and relaxing atmosphere, the only flaw is the cover charge, high and unjustified, paper napkins and tablecloth and they don't bring anything to the table
