A magnificent and enchanting place. Not far from the evocative Calomini Hermitage, an excellent trattoria with old-world charm, excellent prices, and excellent dishes. Rich appetizers, including vegetarian options, with homemade focaccia (although a bit too compact and heavy). Many of the ingredients are homemade. Friendly and fast service. The tour concludes with a guided tour of the Hermitage, with time dedicated to meditation in the retreat cave, appreciating the silence of those caves dug way back in 1200.

After a wonderful visit to the Calomini Hermitage, a wonderful experience... we finished off our meal at the Antica Trattoria dell'Eremita. Excellent food, a warm welcome, and a beautiful location surrounded by nature. We'll be back soon.

We only had dinner, but we weren't sure if it was open because the hours on Google were wrong. The food was very good, the service was quick and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was very homey.

15/08/2025: Today, August 15th, a group of friends and I went to eat at the old shack for the first time...the food was super excellent and plentiful, the service was almost all young, really, really good and very kind...the price and atmosphere were truly excellent...we will return and recommend it...Lorella

05/01/2026: A place for many but not for all. You either love it or you hate it. I love it.
29/12/2025: The rustic atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a tavern, right at home. The staff is friendly and helpful, with no unnecessary frills. The food is good and plentiful, the house wine is neither bad nor good, and the price is undoubtedly excellent.
