Excellent trattoria near Tivoli, we ate a succulent steak with roast potatoes, sausage and chicory.
Everything was good, even the crumbled bread.

After a morning of work in Tivoli do we want meat??
Promptly our. trusted advisor in the area tells me, but have I never taken you to Ragno? As long as it's not golden like the other restaurant, we'll go there with confidence!
The location is a bit country in the rural sense of the time, deliberately left with that ancient and beautiful flavour
A nice wood oven for the evening, too bad, a nice focaccia is always good and a nice fireplace for the embers
The rooms are large and the mise en place is sober
At the entrance you can clearly see the fridge for maturing with some nice large cuts, we sit down and the menu arrives, very varied, but we focus on the meat
Angus in 3 different variations:
Dry aged beef or scottona
Irish log
black angus USA
cooked medium rare, we don't recommend it rare perhaps due to the type of maturation
cooked vegetables, sour chicory and sautéed broccoli
We have some ham and mozzarella brought to us while waiting for cooking, the raw ham is excellent, but the mozzarella is less so
then come the side dishes and followed by a nice round cast iron on which the various cuts we have chosen are already portioned out, each in 3 pieces
I see on the wine list a prestigious Dama di Marramiero, a great Montepulciano d'Abruzzo whose cellar I know personally having been there several times and we begin the tasting
the meats are truly remarkable, cooked very, very well and the excellently made peasant knife does its job
we made an excellent choice which ended with desserts, including ricotta and pear cake, crumbled berry cake and Catalan cream, coffee and bitters
we had a really good time, congratulations indeed and to the next one!

Recommended by a friend from Tivoli we left satisfied and full. Very good meat but also homemade pasta. Between one race and another we'll take a quick break, it's near the swimming pool.
The parking is not very large but is easily found nearby

Loved every minute of the experience. From the time we walked in with the atmosphere. The staff were welcoming. Sat down and service was quick . The fish was very well cooked and came nicely covered with sliced potatoes and the steak was out of this world . I went back the next night to try the black Angus one and was not let down . Cooked just the way it should be . A nice house wine was available and had a good deep taste which worked well with the steak. 11 out of 10 guys

Ogni volta che veniamo alle Terme ci fermiamo in questa braceria dove a parte sentirci a casa .. la carne e le focacce sono ottime..non abbiamo mai preso i primi.. non posso recensire.. ma vi assicuro che la carne è top

Nuovamente a questa trattoria di Tivoli in occasione compleanno in famiglia. Come sempre, pietanze eccezionali a iniziare dall antipasto alla pasta fatta in casa e alla carne. Personale gentile e veloce nel servire, cordialità del proprietario e dei figli, insomma un bellissimo pranzo di domenica all antica trattoria del ragno a Tivoli.
