Dove si può gustare il miglior pollo alla diavola d'Italia è risaputo. E' anche uno splendido posto dove, eleganza, buon gusto , e una cucina sempre all'altezza della fama, ne fanno un mio ristorante del cuore fin dai lontani tempi del liceo. Una superba cantina nazionale e internazionale ti invoglia a provare cantine e vini mai assaggiati. Da tornarci sempre

Nice experience in this historic trattoria. We were welcomed very kindly by the staff. They made us sit in a lovely pergola. We chose creamed cod, simply fantastic, and the iconic dish of the restaurant, deviled chicken. All pleasant. Complete wine list with authentic gems. Proportionate price. Dog friendly

Renowned historic venue, deriving from a former inn. In Covid time we ate under the beautiful adjacent pergola (there is another separate one in front of the equally beautiful restaurant). The cheeses and chicken according to the house recipe are worth it. Excellent selection of wines. Let us advise you; discreet but trained staff. After the coffee I finished with a surprise glass of slightly oxidized Verduzzo passito del Friuli, congratulations.

Posto molto interessante, dalla lunga storia. Cibo buono, carta dei vini stupenda. Accogliente il personale. Da provare la cotoletta alla milanese e il galletto che dà il nome al posto!

Nice experience overall. Maybe I didn't choose the best dishes, but I was satisfied. The wine list is excellent and extensive. Well organized place.

26/06/2024: Seen from the outside I wouldn't have entered, but the choice was excellent, fantastic and plentiful typical dishes, it's just a shame about the environment but perhaps that's what makes it unique.
21/05/2024: Very particular place... studied in every detail... it feels like being in a 70's house. Inside, going to the room at the back of the place feels like passing through a greenhouse... the number varies and is typical Milanese... I ate a Yellow saffron risotto, elephant eye (the typical Milanese cutlet, nervetti... and many other good dishes... the staff is very kind and attentive to our requests... in short, a place that takes you to another dimension

13/07/2024: Incredible experience. Wonderful starters (fois gras escalope, nothing short of sublime), delicious first courses, second courses to lose your senses (the sensational Iberian suckling pig, it melted in your mouth!), perfect wine. The location is also beautiful. An unforgettable evening! Thank you very much 😃

If you are looking for a trattoria for simple dishes, this is not the right place, you go here to appreciate traditional or particular flavours, but with a unique preparation that enhances the taste of any dish, with care in both preparation and presentation! The service is attentive and precise and very helpful towards customers! A superior restaurant, but without creating a cold and detached environment! For wines, the cellar has no competition! The price quality is excellent! A place to try and fall in love with
