Highly recommended. Everything was delicious, from the welcome to the service. The traditional menu features Mondeghili, cotechino, tripe, chicken alla diavola, and Milanese cutlet. Everything was delicious, the cutlet was so delicious, and the tripe brought back memories of Christmas Eve when I was a kid. The wine list was really well-crafted, with more than fair markups and a wide selection of some truly unusual French wines. Truly excellent. I'd been wanting to try it for a long time, and we finally got around to it.

This beautiful and historic trattoria in the lower Milan area is part of the Premiate Trattorie Italiane association, which brings together 21 historic trattorias from north to south. Here, you can savor authentic Lombard cuisine in a warm and elegant atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. Today, we came to try their Milanese cutlet, strictly on the bone, cooked in clarified butter, and available both in the thick and thin versions.
Both versions are extraordinary for the tenderness and quality of the meat and the crispiness of the breading. The desserts, such as the Chestnut Delizia in persimmon sauce and their zuppa inglese, are extraordinary. The wine list is extensive, and the option of choosing half bottles is also much appreciated. We also appreciated the kindness of the owner, with whom we had a chat about the history of the cutlet.
Two cream-filled cannoli, one of their specialties. Finally, the quality/price ratio is absolutely in line with what they offer. We will return to try other specialties.
If possible, I recommend a visit to nearby Morimondo before lunch, which, with its historic Abbey, is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.

The atmosphere of an old trattoria with modern touches. The staff are always friendly and the food is tasty. Prices are reasonable and affordable, despite being just outside Milan. Recommended if you want to eat outside the city in complete tranquility.

Good, I'd gladly return. The service was good even though they were packed and super busy. Nice atmosphere, and the food was typical of a trattoria, so it was plentiful and delicious. I love that they brought a large bib for the shrimp linguine.
