We were there on June 2, 2025 for my sister-in-law's birthday. Despite the large turnout for the holiday, the service was wonderfully efficient. Friendly and attentive staff. In the hustle and bustle of customers, they changed my chair because the waiter had noticed that it was unstable. We all ordered different dishes, but despite this the wait was acceptable considering the small kitchen. Quality of food beyond all expectations, generous portions, location with a simply magnificent view. Applause to all the staff and owners.

A beautiful experience today, the table with a view of the valley, genuine and fresh food of great taste. Even though it was full today, the service was in the right time, always kind and helpful. Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly and prepared staff. They love what they do and you can see it, above all you can taste it. A glass terrace overlooking the greenery, a rich and refined menu. Generous portions, excellent raw materials. Now one of the places of the heart, which you can never go wrong in recommending to friends.

In visita a Palazzo Farnese ho prenotato per pranzo insieme a mia moglie e una coppia di amici; come da prenotazione siamo arrivati un po' tardi perché il turno precedente era completo, ma l'accoglienza è stata perfetta e professionale. Premetto che i tempi per le portate sono un po' lunghi, ma questo perché i piatti vengono preparati al momento, quindi abbiamo optato per avere i secondi di carne alla brace, che erano più veloci da preparare e poi abbiamo mangiato i primi. Tutto sommato nulla di sconvolgente. Carne alla brace perfetta e carciofi alla romana altrettanto, così come il filetto di maiale. Pici al ragù di cervo e tortelli con asparagi e pancetta croccante molto buoni. Locale molto carino nel centro storico, e servizio, nonostante il giorno di festa (25 aprile) puntuale, professionale e non invadente. L'impressione è quella di una cucina fatta con passione e un'attenzione gradevole verso il cliente. Complimenti ai cuochi per la qualità dei piatti e delle materie prime e alle cameriere per l'accoglienza ricevuta. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con la qualità delle portate. Da tornarci quando se ne presenterà l'occasione.

Il locale, situato nel centro storico di Caprarola a qualche centinaio di metri da Palazzo Farnese, ti accoglie con personale gentile e garbato. Tre generazioni sono presenti; si va dal nonno, al papà - alla brace - , alla figlia Lucrezia. Tutti sanno accompagnarti con simpatia nel gustare i piatti della casa. Affettati e formaggi della Tuscia come antipasto ti fanno capire immediatamente cosa ti aspetterà di buono dopo. Fagioli “in purgatori” con salsiccia, assolutamente da provare. Ottimi i “pici” al ragù bianco, così come le fettuccine con farina di castagna ed i ravioli con carciofi e guanciale croccante. Come secondi bisogna solo perdersi nel menù e nella carne alla brace. Ottima la Fiorentina spagnola, accompagnata con patate al forno e verdure di stagione ripassate. Si potrebbe chiudere qui ed invece non si può non apprezzare il babà con le castagne, così come i vari tiramisù e millefoglie. Lucrezia sempre sorridente e decisa saprà consigliarvi per il meglio. Personale tutto gentile ed efficiente, anche nell’assecondare i 13 del gruppo “duori porta” che alla visita culturale, nella specie lo splendido Palazzo Farnese, si perde sempre nell’arte della cucina. Dopo aver deliziate gli occhi con Palazzo Farnese deliziate il palato con l’Antica Trattoria del Borgo.
