Interesting dishes that aren't found everywhere. The service is also excellent, although the welcome pancakes, accompanied by just half a flute of prosecco, could be the subject of improvement. As a sommelier I can say that the wine list can also be improved for a more suitable quality/price ratio. However, the quality of the food is of a high standard!!

Not really close but as I have always maintained: "if it is inconvenient to get there it is good to show up". So honest price, professional service, a pleasant experience..

Dinner after an excursion in the area. The restaurant is located on the first floor of an ancient house in a beautiful village. Furnished with old work tools, it looks good and very clean. Quick and courteous service. Cuisine to our taste, well presented dishes, some revisited and refined, others more in keeping with tradition. Good quality/price ratio. Advised. If it hadn't been for the inability of some parents to educate their children to be in society, the evening would have been much better. Unfortunately the restaurateur cannot work miracles, and is committed to improving the service, while others, evidently inadequate in their parental role, only take steps backwards from generation to generation.

Last year I celebrated here with my classmates from 40 years ago and it was a special day, which we will repeat this year. And I went back a month before the new reunion with my children and so I was able to appreciate the place, the cuisine, the people with a new point of view and I must say that my impression was not confirmed, it improved! Traditionally inspired cuisine but taken to another level accompanied by a wonderful bottle of Nebbiolo. Only flaw: too many things to try! We will definitely have to come back!

It is difficult to convey emotions and even more so sensations. I am now of an age and life has given me the opportunity to taste good or excellent, but also terrible, food around Europe and then the world. Here give yourself a gift. It's true, it's not a trattoria, synonymous with abundant dishes (anyway here they aren't empty, on the contrary) and honest food but without shocks. There's no need for me to say whether this or that is better, excellent or other fashionable adjectives. Try it, try it because you are in a bucolic setting, and with preparations like this, which blend well with the surrounding environment, you will feel an integral part of the territory. The expense is adequate for the preparations but well below 1/2/3 star. Yes, star like the game. The stars are in the sky, but someone, out of his kindness, gives them to the restaurateurs. One last necessary and important piece of information: if unfortunately you travel in a wheelchair there is no way to go up other than the flight of stairs. P.s. There's plenty of wine to choose from, whether you're looking for Californian, Chilean, South African, etc. go there they go well with the foods of those territories.
