We went for lunch on a Sunday. There were eight of us.
The restaurant is very elegant, with a classic style, and is divided into several rooms.
The dishes are very good; we had tortellini, lasagna, passatelli, and the cured meat appetizers. The latter are small, so it's best to order one plate each.
The staff is very friendly.
The prices are slightly higher than average for trattorias, but they're proportionate to the quality offered.

This historic Bologna trattoria, obviously specializing in tagliatella, is a must. The food is good, and the service is attentive. Prices are average for the area.

I highly recommend this restaurant because it was a surprise like a dream. We stumbled upon it by chance on September 9, 2025. Until you try this Bolognese ragù, you don't know what ragù means! 🔝

Spectacular lunch at Trattoria Gigina.
We immersed ourselves in Bolognese cuisine and left happy and full.
The first courses were wonderful (tortellini in broth, tagliatelle, green lasagna).
The second courses were delicious and captivating.
The desserts were rich and generous in flavor.
Excellent service. Historic place.
We'll ALWAYS return!

Bel ristorante, caratteristico, elegante e pulito.
Tagliatelle al ragù molto buone come anche gli antipasti ed i dolci.
La nota dolente è il conto... prezzi un poco troppo esagerati.
Coperto 4 euro, tagliatelle 14 euro, acqua da 75cc 3 euro e caffè 2,50, per non parlare dei dolci 7 euro...
Se avete un bel portafoglio pieno di soldi e carte di credito, andate perché tutto sommato si mangia bene ma, se volete spendere meno, le tagliatelle al ragù buone e i dolci altrettanto buoni, in locali di tutto rispetto, le trovate lo stesso alla metà del prezzo di questo ristorante.
