While searching for a restaurant in Bologna during a trade fair, we were delighted to discover this historic restaurant on the outskirts of the city. It was a real surprise! Every dish, from appetizers to first courses to desserts, was delicious and faithful to Bolognese tradition. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially the maître d', who stood out for his kindness.

A vintage trattoria that has retained a unique atmosphere: it's worth a visit. The food is meticulously prepared (with a focus on traditional Bolognese cuisine) and the staff are very professional and friendly (the customer is truly taken care of!). Prices are slightly high, but absolutely in line with the quality and service.

The service was professional and impeccable, the quality of the food excellent, and the courtesy and helpfulness of the owner, Mrs. Rosalba, truly touched me.
Somewhat unusually, I and the other ladies at the table were presented with a menu without prices. It may be considered an anachronistic and unnecessary gesture, but I was not at all displeased to receive such kind and gracious attention.
Thanks to the owner and her staff for their hospitality.

EXCEPTIONAL!
If you're looking for a restaurant serving typical Bologna food, you've come to the right place.
The decor is period; it's one of the oldest restaurants in Bologna.
The pasta with ragu and the nettle gnocchi were truly delicious, as was the tiramisu!
The waiters are also very friendly, and they offer a complimentary welcome soup.
We highly recommend it!

The food was excellent. We had culatello and parmesan for two as an appetizer, followed by two first courses, both with high-quality and tasty ingredients.
The waiters were very friendly and the service was quick.
The cover charge was perhaps a little higher than average (€4 per person), but for what they offer, I'd say it's fine. They bring a small appetizer to start with, and the bread is fresh and varied.

Quando si dice l'arte della tradizione e della ristorazione. A pochi passi dall'autostrada un ristorante artigiano dove degustare pasta fresca, ragù, bolliti e altri piatti della cucina bolognese. Locale curato e dall'atmosfera antica, consigliatissimo. Personale organizzato, efficiente e appassionato. Viva la Gigina!

Location scelta per assaggiare piatti tipici bolognesi. Portate eccellenti, scelta del vino soddisfacente e servizio curato (già solo l'accortezza del gancio al tavolo per la borsa è stata una piacevole sorpresa). Fascia medio alta ma adeguata.
