Antica Torretta In Verona

We are here after our wedding in Verona 10 years ago so felt it was necessary that we'd celebrate our 10 years at the same place for dinner We went for the tasting menu (meat option) which is for two people and you get 7 different dishes in total (this includes 2 deserts) We had a fantastic experience here, the staff were so friendly and they made lots of effort to recommend the right wine in order, explaining everything about it as well as explaining each dish to us. Honestly speaking, this was one of the best meals I've ever had. I don't tend to do to fancy restaurants and expensive meals like this but my God, that was worth it. It's hard to pick a favourite dish, although I did have a soft spot for the duck pate and duck liver. Thank you for the experience guys. ❤️

I worked there way back in 1986/87 in the summer, lovely place in the center, delicious food.

Cozy place, with well-spaced tables. The waiters were very kind and professional. Excellent quality food and aesthetically inviting, we will definitely be back! Recommended

We celebrated our wedding anniversary last night in this beautiful restaurant. Antica Torretta is very special for us. We celebrated our first year of marriage there in 2014 and yesterday the 10th we choose to go there again, Can’t be better The service was excellent as always. The owner Manuel was not there but his team was so warm and pet friendly so helpful they know how to make you happy. If you like to drink wine you can trust Sebastian the restaurant manager ,he is the best you can leave it to him and sit back & enjoy your wine with an perfect pairing 👌🏼 thank you 🙏🏻 see you next time🍾

What can I say... selection of excellent quality ingredients enhanced by the open kitchen. The added value in addition to the food which is always excellent is the service, I was amazed by the wine pairing (I studied oenology at the University of Verona and I'm a difficult customer) it seemed after the welcome note that the sommelier knew my tastes! After the Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir Alto Adige, which I love!) I was always served excellent and refined wines from small companies and excellent quality but what impressed me most was the search for particular vinifications (a white macerated on the skins with sweet hints on the nose but a marked acidity and a very long persistence) and okay without going into further detail it was an excellent experience that I will remember and highly recommend. As soon as you enter L'antica torretta a warm and intimate atmosphere envelops you, emphasized by the exquisite welcome and the attentive and expert service. An environment of traditional inspiration, but with class. The atmosphere is of soft lights, light jazz music and a calm conversation of the few customers (there are not many tables) The menu is a masterpiece of culinary creativity and does not disappoint expectations. The balanced structure of the dishes, the impeccable preparation and presentation of the dish, the unquestionably high quality of the chosen ingredients, allow you to savor the passion and wisdom of the Mediterranean flavours. An excellence of our city.

Everything was top notch, especially the dishes, truly special and beautiful as well as delicious. The prices are also high as is the quality of the restaurant, I think this is normal.

The best in Verona, worth every euro you pay.

We were staying nearby and had chosen Antica Torretta months prior after looking at over 8 top choices. We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed all of our courses. The atmosphere was very romantic, with high beamed ceilings, low light, wonderful service. We will return !
