Good experience at Antica Taverna I was recently at Antica Taverna and had a good experience. The meat is certainly the strong point of the restaurant: well cooked, tasty and of good quality. The starters were simple but tasty, a great start to the meal. The atmosphere of the place is rustic and welcoming, although there are some details that could be improved to make the environment even more pleasant. The service was quite good, with friendly and helpful staff. In general, it is a place where I would happily return to eat good meat in a quiet environment.

The selection of meats, both domestic and foreign, is truly impressive. Each cut is proudly displayed, highlighting the maturing process that gives each piece a unique flavor and tenderness. Although my choice focused on meat, I noticed that the first courses, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, are worth a visit in themselves; I will definitely come back to try them. To start, I chose a crust of bread with mozzarella and a legendary white hare ragù, a divine combination that I highly recommend sharing. The real star of the evening, however, was the scottona fiorentina: a fillet and sirloin cooked to perfection, which melted in the mouth and which, without a doubt, is one of the best gastronomic experiences I have ever had.
