The food is excellent. Recommended. Be careful of the waitress's moodiness, as she probably hasn't fully grasped her role and that it should have with those who are there to enjoy good food, but also a moment of relaxation.

Restaurant in the historic center of Viterbo. Friendly service. Adequate house appetizer. Good main courses. Wide selection of meats...perhaps even too much. Good-quality ingredients and well-cooked. Nothing exceptional, however. The dessert didn't satisfy me. Decent value and average prices for a grill restaurant. Honestly, traveling all that way from Rome isn't worth it. If you're in Viterbo and want to eat meat (and I emphasize meat), you can take advantage of this...

The meat was quite fatty, I must have been unlucky. I went years ago and remembered it much better. The staff was rude and didn't live up to their reputation.

Good experience at Antica Taverna
I was recently at Antica Taverna and had a good experience. The meat is definitely the restaurant's strong point: well cooked, tasty and of good quality. The appetizers were simple but tasty, a great start to the meal. The atmosphere of the place is rustic and cozy, although there are some details that could be improved to make the environment even more pleasant.
The service was quite good, with friendly and helpful staff. Overall, it's a place where I would happily return to eat good meat in a quiet environment.
