While staying in a nearby village, this Antica Taverna was immediately recommended to us, and we couldn't have found a better place. The very friendly host had clearly informed us that he would be alone in the dining room that evening, but we can confirm that this had no impact on the service, which was flawless. The cuisine is incredibly good, authentic, and delicate: the two of us tried a saffron menu (delicious) with fragrant chickpeas, an incredible pasta with guanciale, and an excellent lamb stew. Special mention goes to the cream of fava beans with onion and turnip tops, dressed with a delicious olive oil, and the ravioli with sauce and caciocavallo cheese, which were delicious. The desserts, the Passito di Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine, and the saffron liqueur were also spectacular. What can we say? It was our first time in Abruzzo, and it was exactly how we imagined it to be: authentic. We'll be back.

Excellent food, refined yet authentic. Exceptional staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, in a medieval village worth visiting. The value for money is more than satisfactory.

Generous portions, professionalism and courtesy, fair prices

The appetizer was good, as was the main course, but the first course (saffron tagliatelle) was completely bland. We only ate two forkfuls each. Excellent service, beautiful location.

We've been stopping at this restaurant whenever possible for years. The quality is top-notch. They focus on Abruzzo's local produce. A guarantee of excellent food and unique dishes.

Passing by after a canoe trip on the Tirino River, it had been highly recommended. Everything was excellent, from the ingredients to the service to the location; only the bill was a bit high. It's certainly a bit pricey for a quick lunch with a view, but perfect for a nice evening.

How could you not stop here if you're passing through Navelli? A must. A very quiet and relaxing place. Friendly staff. Very authentic and flavorful dishes made with excellent ingredients. I recommend stopping by for lunch too!

Beautiful location, very friendly staff, very good food with local specialties, and I drank the saffron beer for the first time. It was very good, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
