The Antica taverna is the restaurant where local dishes are served: ceci, saffron, etc... it is located right on the outskirts of Navelli. Excellent, fresh and abundant dishes. Try the ones with saffron!!! Price quality - very honest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a good time and the value for money is excellent, good quantity of food.. the location is nice and welcoming. Located on the slopes of the beautiful Navelli, it is easy to reach and easy to leave your car there. I suggest the 5-course menu based on the famous local saffron.

We arrived not too early and were seated anyway. Delicious special saffron-based dishes. Top service Highly recommended

Siamo stati a pranzo presso l'Antica Taverna di Navelli (AQ) e devo dire che siamo rimasti colpiti dall'accoglienza garbata e gentile del titolare Sig. Daniele e dallo staff molto preparato e presente. Locale molto accogliente, ben organizzato e pulito. Abbiamo ordinato un menù fisso allo zafferano composto di ceci della Piana di Navelli con zafferano, chitarrina allo zafferano e guanciale, stracotto di vitello agrumi e zafferano, millefogli alla crema con zafferano, e degli antipasti come vellutata di fave con cicoria e cipolla croccante, carciofi, pallotte cacio e ove, verze tutte con la sapienza dell'utilizzo di creme e dello zafferano che ne esaltavano il gusto e il profumo. Tutto ottimo e genuino ma, soprattutto, rigorosamente rispettante le virtù e bontà dei prodotti tipici dei prodotti dell'agricoltura territoriale. Sicuramente sarà un nostro punto fermo come Ristorante della zona dove la qualità, la genuinità, la cortesia e il prezzo giusto rispetto a ciò che "degusti", meritano di essere frequentato.

Excellent lunch with well-prepared dishes and quality ingredients. The truffle and saffron menus were a nice discovery. Just a few details that could be improved: in the capocollo steak with truffle, I would have preferred less salt, and in the fettuccine with ricotta, bacon and truffle, a smaller quantity of ricotta would have brought out the other flavors better. Furthermore, it would be better to use more suitable glasses for wine. Overall, very positive experience.

Lunch was delicious and romantic for Valentine's day. ❤️

There are no words. I stopped by chance for lunch and found a wonderful place, a familiar waiter and excellent quality raw materials. I preferred typical dishes of the area, such as chickpeas with saffron (slow food presidium chickpeas) and ravioli with ricotta and walnuts in sauce, with a sprinkling of hard ricotta from San Gregorio. I lacquered my moustache! Everything hypergood and hypergenuine. As a vegetarian I recommend it.

Scoperta per caso perché non conoscevamo la zona, ed è stata una piu che gradita sorpresa. Piatti a base di zafferano, casarecci e raffinati allo stesso tempo. Servizio cordiale ed impeccabile. Sicuramente da mettere in agenda per un prossimo ritorno
