Antica Pizzicheria Ruggeri In Roma

Eravamo in Campo dei Fiori per fare un giro fra i banchetti del mercato e abbiamo visto questa fantastica “pizzicheria”. Oltre all’acquisto di formaggi tipici, salumi e affettati e molto altro, in tripudio di colori, profumi e sapori, c’è la possibilità di gustare queste prelibatezze in un piccolo spazio dietro il negozio. Noi abbiamo preso un tagliere con formaggi, affettati, olive, porchetta, miele, tutti prodotti di alta qualità, uno spuntino energetico.

Central location, convenient for having an aperitif or going out for a bite to eat after work. Prices are reasonable for beautiful plates. As is often the case in Rome, it is sometimes cramped on the small terrace but we always find a small space.

Here you can sit outside in the old town and watch the people. We were skeptical because of the complete offer. But it was really good. We ate lasagna and spahgetti carbonara. Both extremely good. We say highly recommended. Not far from Piazza Navona.

In the center you can't miss a stop in this place, if you're cold they'll even give you a blanket😍. The pizza was divine, full of mozzarella and stretched a lot. Also very good cold cuts and cheeses, carefully made cocktails. Well done guys😎😍🤩

The place is well located, the food is good and the cost-benefit is excellent. The service was very good, including a Portuguese-speaking employee who was very helpful.

What he promises he delivers, and it's a lot. It is the second time, after months, that we have eaten here: beer, bruschetta, lasagna: everything perfect, better than in many places where you pay 3-5 euros for bruscetta and they give you a dry crust. The price: 15 euros. Then, if you leave the offer you pay Rome prices: a coffee at the table costs 2.50 euros, (I heard tourists complaining that it wasn't honest - they learned to read....). I will return, with pleasure because, above all, the lasagna is special.

Ten points for excellent service. Great food and also healthier options if pizza or pasta is not your thing. If we return to Rome we will definitely come again. Thank you!

We were staying directly opposite, on Navona Palace Hotel, so had a walk of about 10 feet! The staff gave us a nice friendly welcome and the restaurant looked so appealing, with sparkling lights and lovely Christmas seat covers. My wife and I both had the pasta meal deal for 15 euros (bruschetta, pasta main and a drink). This was excellent venue. We paid just 2 euros each to upgrade from small beer to a pint. The food was delicious. We somehow found room for tirimasu which was also great. A second visit was just as good. By the way, Moretti White is a lovely beer. Can't find it in the UK. Great food, lovely setting, superb staff and all at a reasonable price. Thanks all!
