Antica pizzeria da Michele In Palermo

I finally ate the real Neapolitan cartwheel pizza, tasty, thin and melting in the mouth, and as per tradition it came out of the plate, but cooked at too high a heat, in some places it was slightly burnt, on the other hand the best Neapolitan pizza I have ever eaten

Great pizza, fast and friendly service. Certainly not the best in Sicily, but definitely very good! The pistachio mortadella was truly delicious. The price is normal and quite reasonable these days.

Weekend in Palermo. I'll start by saying that my assessment is based solely on the type of pizza itself. Walking by pure chance, we stumbled upon the famous pizzeria Da Michele, so we decided to try their famous cartwheel pizza. Cooked in a wood-fired oven, the pizzas are traditionally very thin but delicious, with a light dough and good-quality ingredients. Personally, I'm not a fan of extremely thin pizzas, but this one is pleasant to eat. The place is welcoming and has a fairly quiet atmosphere.

It's relatively less authentic than the original location in Naples. The staff is quite polite, and the service is excellent. It seemed a bit more expensive than the Naples location, but overall, the prices are reasonable.

Nice place with great Neapolitan-style pizza, I highly recommend trying the Margherita! The service is fast, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s located in a nice area, perfect for a casual lunch or relaxed dinner. The ordering process is quick and easy, and the pizzas come out fresh with that perfect soft crust and flavorful tomato sauce. A great spot for pizza lovers looking for good quality and pleasant vibes in Palermo.
