5 well-deserved stars for the pizza, for the schiacciatine, for the cecina (typical dish) Fast service Clean but really too spartan environment, totally left from the 60s/70s, no changes or improvements.

Antica pizzeria da Cammillo since 1870 is an establishment, here as soon as you enter you can see and fully experience the warm Pisan tradition. Here you can eat CECÌNA or SCHIACCIATINA WITH CECÌNA which is a typical specialty of Pisa and Pontedera. For me this place is magical because it makes me feel at home and I recommend it as a mandatory stop for everyone who is in this area of ​​Tuscany.

Strepitoso e la signora gentile nell'avviare una nuova cecina per farcela gustare ben calda. Cecina buonissima e croccante. Le schiacciatine non erano spesse e non ne coprivano il gusto. Consigliatissimo.

08/07/2024: Summer 2021: We came here by chance and found a very pleasant surprise. We could eat outside. Both inside and outside very pleasant. Very kind and friendly staff. Impeccable service. Very good and plentiful dishes. Summer 2024 update: we ate inside given the heat and the internal air conditioning at the right temperature. We had a great time once again. Great place, shame it's hidden and not known by tourists.
01/06/2024: I went to this place for a communion lunch, the location could be modernized a bit as for the menu, good dishes and also the service which I gave five stars, outside there is clay pigeon shooting so it's inevitable the sound of shots, but one knows that.
