A very nice and friendly place to stop for a pastry and cappuccino or tea, a proper italian lunch, a quick coffee break or a glass of wine.

It was the best place in Florence. It is a hidden gem with tasteful and diverse food. Not overcrowded at all. The staff is very nice. We came back here as much better and cheaper than the classic turistic restaurant.

During three days we were staying in Florence and tried different restaurants, Maioli was the best. Very tasty food, soup recommended, nice service and Andrea explained us the history of the dishes in fluent English. We highly recommend this restaurant, very close to the Pitti Palace

This bistro was a lifesaver after long train trip to Florence. Lasagna was amazing! Aperol was very good and refreshing. But tiramisu was very bad… I have never tried such dry tiramisu

Very pleasant place, with excellent service and very well prepared food. The place is impeccably clean and the staff is very polite and friendly. The prices are affordable and in line with the products, which are worth every penny. Highly recommended, whether for a quick stop or a full meal.

20/01/2025: Consigliato da amici ci siamo fermati a mangiare,accolti dal titolare che ci ha deliziato con i suoi piatti a base di pesce. Veramente un pesce di ottima qualità e preparato con ricette gustose per il palato e belle per gli occhi. Siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti e lo consigliamo vivamente.
15/09/2024: Ben gaan lunchen bij L’Osteria Masaccio met mijn dochter. We houden allebei van vis, schelp en schaaldieren. De schotels waren echt heel groot ( rauwe vis schotel en Linguine Masaccio) en lekker. De service was vlug en vriendelijke. Prijs/kwaliteit uitstekend. We gaan zeker nog eens terug en is een aanrader.
