The quality has dropped a lot. Disappointed by a really poorly made birthday cake, brought to the location and they even forgot the candles!!
Some diners even commented that they thought the cake was "fake" because it was so badly made.
But beyond this, even in the restaurant the quality of the desserts has dropped, they are often poorly made (see the famous Cibele cake for which they have modified the recipe) with errors and the staff is poor and unprofessional. It's a shame because 12 years ago the owner had won a competition on TV and had improved a lot, then he declined for a few years.

Tried again and found it again after years, to be honest I was a little disappointed by the quality, but above all by the choice proposed.... The previous fame does not justify them, a price we paid.
Moving on from the Corso, there are other much more well-stocked pastry shops.

In a small square in Palazzolo Acreide there is this pastry shop/deli that is worth visiting for the goodness of the sweet and savory products and for the prices which are super. Look at the attached receipt.
The only criticism is the service but not because they are not good but given the turnout, a couple more people would be needed.

A very good pastry shop / pattiserie that we came back for again. Delicious profiterole and the best arancini of the holiday. It can get busy in the store, but that is of course for a reason. Definitely worth a visit.

Ottimo posto, varia scelta della rosticceria sopratutto della pasticceria. Mi è piaciuto molto che ci sono dolci tradizionali ma ci sono anche dolci moderni. Vi consiglio la torta Cibele!! Opzioni anche per senza glutine, senza latte e vegano. La saletta è veramente bella e piena di libri, giochi per bambini e strumenti che puoi suonare come la guitarra e il piano forte.

Si può cenare qui con arancini, schiacce e naturalmente finire con gelato o cannoli o altra squisita pasticceria. Da non mancare
