A restaurant just steps from the Rialto Bridge, in a very quiet alley... Very good food and excellent value... Highly recommended

I just dropped in, but the friendly service despite my broken English made me very happy. The squid ink pasta and the recommended onion and sardine pasta in oil were both delicious. This is a restaurant that even those who aren't confident in their English can feel comfortable using!

I found this place to Savory Italy Tours it was a group of 16. Started here the pasta homemade with the fresh ingredients, the sardines and onion oh my gosh so good the calamari the best I’ve had the wine the Prosecco was superb. The aperol spritz very good , a must if you ever in Venice, Italy.

This Bacaro is extremely good value, and the wine portion was very large for the value. They had a moderate selection of food and we really enjoyed the meat balls.

Finally, a Venetian osteria. A family atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff. The food is very good, and the prices are more than fair considering we're just steps from the Rialto Bridge. Bigoli in sugo and spaghetti with squid ink are highly recommended! Thank you!

08/11/2025: Centrally located, traditional, and welcoming, this restaurant offers a good selection of typical Venetian dishes and several options to choose from. Everything was delicious, but the real difference was made by our waiter, Mr. Diego. He was kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to him, we felt right at home, and the restaurant has become our best choice in Venice for an authentic and enjoyable dinner.
