Divine, meat heaven! Sublime appetizers, fabulous stew, I still dream about it! And then the Fiorentina... buttery!!! If you're passing through Mugello, you can't miss Nandone!

The best Florentine steak I've ever eaten

Meat heaven! Many years have passed since 1908, but Osteria da Nandone is still there, present and on point! It's meat heaven, cooked with experience and skill, served on a hot plate to keep it warm without cooking it (Paolo's skill takes care of that). What can I say about the pancetta tasting and an incredible specialty they prepare, a stew cooked for 14 hours with a hint of chocolate that makes it unparalleled? A tomato compote that tastes so good it looks like jam, but then surprises you with a hint of spicy flavor. The Tuscan crostini is delicious, but its counterpart with mascarpone and anchovy is also worth trying. The wild boar with olives and other appetizers...but the meat, the meat reigns supreme, and I'll be back! …and I'll be back again, and you can be sure I won't let much time pass🥰

Good food, very touristy and rushed service, cold and apathetic staff

It's a life experience worth having. I haven't been back for a few years, since 2018, but nothing has changed. Still the best. Well done, Paolo.

What can I say...you absolutely have to go and eat at Nandone!!!

A positive experience. The appetizers were good, but so plentiful that perhaps they didn't fully appreciate the Florentine steak. The latter was excellent, incredibly tender and flavorful. An honorable mention goes to the tarts, each one better than the last. The prices were a little high, but the staff was excellent.

This restaurant is famous for its excellent Florentine steak, which here reaches the highest levels of perfection. The traditional appetizers are excellent, with authentic, timely flavors. The service is informal, friendly, and punctual, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by. The prices are in line with the quality and never excessive.
