The staff is friendly and helpful.
The Florentine steak is butter, cut with a spoon.
A historic, century-old tavern, it claims to have served over a million customers.
"Omomorto" (dead man) is said to derive from the shape of the mountainous terrain, which resembles a man lying down.

We booked via WhatsApp a week in advance, otherwise we wouldn't have found a table. The Florentine steak was excellent (even too much, due to the appetizers), we wanted to try those too (while we were there!), anyway, satisfied and recommended!!! Top!!!

Amazing meat, amazing desserts, and everything served is top-notch. The owner is attentive, polite, and friendly. We were all very happy. The prices are in line with what you eat and drink.

The best and most tender Florentine steak I've ever eaten, it looked like butter the way it was cut! 🤤 Super generous portions and everything truly exceptional. Starting with the appetizers, which arrive and you find it already on the table, delicious and fresh local products, excellent house wine and a perfect match with the steak, then continuing with the Florentine steak (tasty and very tender) and finishing with the house desserts,.... you get to the meal and eat the appetizers that are there, to then finish with liqueurs of all kinds and coffee, Paolo is a guarantee now for us Policemen of Florence a fixed stop at least 3/4 times a year, Paolo the owner is unique, a big hug Marco and congratulations for everything as always

Trovandosi in zona era impensabile non poter sostare all'Osteria Nandone per gustare la fiorentina cucinata dal Signor Paolo. Ne è valsa la pena. Senza dimenticare gli antipasti compreso lo stufato " eccezionale". Locale tipico dove ci si sente subito a proprio agio vista la gentilezza e cordialità del Signor Paolo e delle sue figlie. Servizio preciso e veloce. Complimenti

Se non hai mai mangiato la Fiorentina in questa trattoria, vuol dire che non l’hai mai mangiata in vita tua. Chi cerca un posto fighetto può stare tranquillamente a casa così lascia il posto ad altri. Unica “pecca” non una grandissima
