A rustic yet refined trattoria. The interiors are reminiscent of the historic setting and building.
The ample and varied appetizers are astonishing for their simplicity and skillful preparation.
The meat is cooked in a hearth in a very traditional way but with great skill and care. Between the owner's skill and the quality of the ingredients, I can't help but be amazed by the flavor and tenderness of the Fiorentina steak. Even the homemade desserts have great soul. The blend of wines in the 1.5L flask is certainly not a run-of-the-mill house wine—quite the opposite!
Highly recommended. There's no menu or option to order, it must be said, but I left happy and satisfied. (€60 per person) I think that considering the quality of the ingredients, the preparation skill, and the research, the price is truly fair.

We visited this osteria on a workday because it was recommended by locals. We decided to skip the appetizers, letting the owners know in advance so we could fully enjoy the steak. The meat was excellent, masterfully cooked by the host right in front of us over the fireplace. The pancetta was delicious, and the price was right for what we ate! The host was available to explain the type and quality of the meat! The atmosphere was rustic, just as osterias should be! Well done!

We went there because the place is highly publicized on social media, but... but...
From the appetizer to the Florentine steak, which, for heaven's sake, is unquestionable in its quality, the only flavor we noticed was: PEPPER.
Pepper on all the appetizers (mostly onion salads and the like) right up to the Florentine steak, so much so that it masked the flavor of the meat...
Terrible experience. Unlucky? Hmm...

I ate here at least 20 years ago! I've never eaten such a good Florentine steak in my entire life. I'd really like to go back and have this fantastic experience.
