Antica Osteria il Ronchettino In Milano

A fabulous restaurant just outside of Milan - well worth the 20min drive to get here. One of the best food experiences I’ve had when travelling, everything was cooked to perfection - we had the meatballs, osso bucco with risotto, rossini with port wine and truffles, and chocolate mousse/zabaione for dessert. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic food experience in Milan. The service was impeccable as well!

A typical Milanese tavern, very elegant and with several rooms with many decorative lights that create a warm atmosphere. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable, more like a high-class restaurant. The small Mondeghili are excellent accompanied by a sweet and sour sauce. Instead of the classic risotto I tried the tubettini rigati all'erborin with saffron sauce, lemon and sweetbreads. Very tasty and unique! The cutlet is the best I've tried in the area, tender and juicy inside and with a delicious crunchy breading on the outside! To end on a sweet note, an eggnog with green apple, tamarind, coffee and mint. Obviously a recommended place, the prices are adequate for the quality of the dishes and aligned with the other proposals in Milan.

The sommelier's decision to change the wine just because we said it wasn't perfectly in line with our tastes despite being an excellent bottle was greatly appreciated: this is a gesture of great attention to customer satisfaction. Very polite and competent smiling staff. Sublime cuisine, high-level products, impeccable tradition, very warm and welcoming location especially in the old part which gives maximum emotion during the Christmas period. Well done!

Beautiful atmosphere, abundant and well-prepared dishes, excellent quality of food and cellar. Very professional and trained staff. 2 appetizers (mondeghili and tartare), 1 cutlet (shared between 2 people), 2 salads, 2 sorbets, 2 glasses of wine, 1 water: total €134.00.

We chose this place for the office Christmas dinner. The restaurant area is not the best, the well-kept restaurant is divided into two different areas, one more modern and another more ancient, we were in the latter, a sort of room just for us but which was still a bit 'passing through for guests from the other rooms and also near the toilet used by all diners, so a little too much "traffic" for it to be a private room. Friendly service and good food, slightly different prices but alas we are in Milan and in the middle of the Christmas period! The recommended cutlet but it should absolutely be divided into 4 (we took the "imperial cutlet") The exquisite risotto! The Christmas decorations are very cute!

A traditional Milanese restaurant with a pleasant, almost rustic atmosphere. Very professional service. Detailed explanations of the wines, though perhaps a bit lengthy. Very good food, although the menu is somewhat limited. The price is high for the area, but in line with the quality of the food.

Locale accogliente, curato e davvero bello all'interno. Propone una cucina tipica Milanese, sapientemente preparata e ben presentata. Il Risotto con Ossobuco forse è stato il Re, tra le varie portate, ma devo dire che i Mondeghili ( polpette di carne tipiche ) erano buonissimi, gli gnocchi Fritti cotti alla perfezione e leggeri, il Riso al Salto Croccante e saporito, così come anche il Piccione e la MaxiCotoletta. Il Quid in più è stato poi il Sommelier che ci ha deliziato con una perfetta e coinvolgente introduzione dei vari vini serviti ( peraltro scelti molto bene ): Fantastico. Conto Non economico, ma ormai qui in zona i prezzi sono tutti un po così. Locale Consigliato
