Excellent place in the center of Castel Rocchero. Typical Monferrato cuisine, every day offers a fair amount of choice. The various courses are illustrated by chef Maurizio. Abundant starters, high price. First courses prepared entirely by them, but I found that the flavor of the agnolotti seasoning (a very good sauce) clearly dominated that of the agnolotti, debasing the dish. The carpaccio, lean and at the exact point of cooking, had the same problem. The peach millefeuille is very good, as I had already seen in other reviews. It's not the classic millefeuille, but a clever reinterpretation (crumbled pastry, probably assembled on the spot, this guarantees that it's nice and crunchy). For a dinner, with a bottle of wine, leaving the table satisfied, but not burdened, we spent 200 euros.

Pleasant discovery in this tavern where the service was certainly one of the strong points together with the authentic and genuine menu. The hosts make you feel like you are at home. The menu (not à la carte) presents various tastings of appetizers plus the choice between 3-4 first and second courses. The dessert (peach millefeuille) was superlative and very abundant. At the end of the dinner you will not be disappointed by either the quality or quantity. The bill is correct (perhaps it would be better in the absence of paper at the beginning of the dinner to illustrate how the succession of the various courses and the related costs are made up). Parking nearby is conveniently located. We will definitely be back!!!

Warm and welcoming place. The "menu" is chef Maurizio himself who, with competence, professionalism and a lot of passion, describes the dishes he brings you, all freshly prepared and of the highest quality. Don't miss the millefeuille with seasonal fruit, UNSURPASSABLE!! Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back to try other delicacies.

A real gastronomic experience. The owner, as well as Chef, accompanied us throughout the dinner, telling us about the dishes served in an interesting and enriching culinary journey. Really great quality and excellent service. Absolutely worth returning to try all the seasonal variations of the dishes offered. Highly recommended!

Pure Excellence..... Exquisite typical local food masterfully prepared and presented by the "friendly" owner and chef. Excellent wine pairing. Great hospitality in a simple but charming environment. I hope to return as soon as possible... Super recommended.
