Excellent pizzas! The tomato sauce is among the tastiest I've ever had; they just need to add a little more garlic to the marinara. Otherwise, the pizzaiuolo is top notch!

A restaurant for locals, but in the heart of Montelupo. We ordered pappardelle al chingiale with chocolate flakes and black olives, a combination I'll definitely be adding to my recipe repertoire, and an incredible lasagna. The half-liter of table wine was also very good. The service was excellent. Everything was 10/10. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. I'll be back for the juicy bisteca fiorentina, which looked so tempting. I highly recommend it if you're in Montelupo or the surrounding area. The prices are very reasonable.

This is our second year here, and it's still an excellent place. The atmosphere is beautiful and warm, with wines in the background and beautifully presented tables. The food is very good, with recommended appetizers and appropriate portions. The steak was truly excellent, cooked perfectly rare. The trio of desserts is highly recommended. The first course (pappardelle) didn't leave a wow effect on me, but it was still very good. The house wine isn't bad. On a negative note, the service was very polite and impeccable. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the girl who served us. There are subjective things that can be annoying, and that's about it. But there were two things I didn't appreciate at all. First, the limoncello brought to the table without being asked for and added to the bill. It's not going to cost me 3 euros to starve me, but I'm talking about the gesture. The worst thing was that EVERY time—and I mean EVERY time—a plate seemed half-empty, he always came asking for it to be taken away. It was even taken away while I was still chewing. I'm sorry, but I just can't stand that. All in all, the quality/price ratio is fair. Some things are reasonably priced, like 10 euros for a first course, others are overpriced, like 5 euros for a small portion of fries. But all in all, you eat well in a nice place.

Welcoming, with a warm, typically Tuscan atmosphere, you can dine on simple yet delicious dishes like pizza or the classic Florentine steak paired with a good Chianti. A lovely open-view wine cellar with a good selection of wines, including house wines. Prices are reasonable for the area. Highly recommended.

I was there for three nights. The place was beautiful, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious! The desserts could be slightly improved, but the overall quality and experience were top-notch!

Discovered by chance, this restaurant is a marvel. As soon as we walked through the door, a little unsure, the waitress Carmen welcomed us with a smile and a warmth that immediately put us in the mood. The delicious aroma of the place too. The menu is restrained and sufficient. The Chianina tartare, with an extra white truffle, is fabulous. The Moscardini is superb. The cuisine is generous in quantity and flavor. Chef Thomas is 25 years old. Bravo. Talent doesn't wait for age. A family business. In short, I can't say enough good things about it. Unbeatable value for money. Thank you. The tavern is mainly meat-based rather than fish-based, although you can also find some interesting fish dishes. In the meantime, make a reservation, otherwise you have to wait for a table to become available. Also, because it's always full, the atmosphere is a bit noisy. The Gran Antipasto Toscano was good, I would only have put 2 more slices of prosciutto crudo and mortadella (there were only 2 slices per slice), while there were 4 slices of salami. Apart from this, there were Coccoli (fried pizza bites) / crostini with mushrooms / crostini with chicken livers (the pâté should have been cooked more) / pappa al pomodoro / I had the stracchino added to the rest. The first courses are the best: pappardelle with wild boar with dark chocolate flakes and tortelli filled with leeks, on a pumpkin cream. A seasonal dish, which I hope to try again. The mixed grill: lamb ribs (good, but still too much fatty) sausage (cook it more, because it was pink inside) chicken and baked potatoes (these must be softer inside, not boiled) .. cheek (a little dry) with mashed potatoes (it was a bit sticky, mash the potatoes, don't use the mixer) .. you can see that the chef is young, because there are some things that could have turned out better, but even if the experience is lacking, the passion is there and you can always improve.. the extra virgin olive oil is exceptional.. put it on all the dishes..
