Definitely an unforgettable experience... We had dinner at this restaurant. Nothing to complain about the food; if the fettuccine had been homemade, I would have definitely enjoyed it more. The only downside was the service, with us having to "correct" the waiter all evening. He, presumably due to his inexperience, served us dishes we hadn't ordered, and those we had ordered only on the second try. To top it all off, we spent several minutes at the cashier looking for our order, only to discover that he hadn't handed it over to the cashier for the bill. An "apology" from the staff or the owners, perhaps to protect the image of this historic establishment, would undoubtedly have helped us digest the evening better.

We thought we'd eat traditional Pavia dishes, but that wasn't the case. I don't know what was in the risotto, but it was almost inedible! I think we spent more than we actually tasted. It was impossible to talk in the dining room; it was too crowded and chaotic because there were too many seats. Kudos to the waiter with the "pigtail" who was incredibly kind and gave us the utmost attention and courtesy! BRAVO! The prices on the website menu aren't up to date with what you'll actually pay. I was sorry to travel so many miles for such a disappointment!

Good food, excellent restaurant in Borgo Basso, and very charming. The interior layout is perhaps a little too sparse. Courteous service.

Stunning location, the place has been around for 160 years, very good food, fantastic cod with onions...try it and believe it!

What can I say? They were great, they even welcomed us without a reservation without being bothered... as is usually the case. The food was good, we'll be back soon. The location was beautiful, and the price was excellent.

Everything was excellent, traditional dishes cooked really well. The owner is friendly, as are the staff. The prices are fair for the quality. A total of 10 out of 10.

Bar Trattoria Da Emy

14/12/2025: Discovered by chance, 1980s-style, but good value...basically a classic trattoria for those who want to eat well. Open for lunch with an à la carte menu...the only drawback is that in the evenings, reservations are required for large groups of at least 15 people.
30/06/2025: A quiet and welcoming place with ample parking, which is not to be underestimated! Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. The outdoor seating is truly charming and well-kept! A lunch that deserves all five stars!
