The food was good but not incredible and very expensive for what we ate.. A very loud radio next to it was unbearable…

I wanted to share the unpleasant service experience my family and I went through during Christmas lunch. We had already been there and returned having enjoyed it. Unfortunately this was not the case: beyond the price which was excessively high for the proposal, I would recommend changing the waiter with the pigtail and tattoos because he was truly rude and unprofessional towards us, almost as if he were annoyed at having guests at the restaurant. I feel sorry for the owner because he, however, was much more courteous. Surely, after this latest experience, we will think twice before returning.

I'm sorry I can't leave 5 stars. my wife ate excellent meat, the starters were good, but my first course, gnocchi with mushrooms, had water on the bottom of the plate and did not shine in terms of tastiness. Too bad I didn't get the risotto, I saw all the other customers very satisfied.

Already upon arrival you can perceive tradition and history, which can be found in the dishes. One of the labels on the door "risotto brotherhood" makes you understand what you have to try. It's the second time I've been to this restaurant, and I remember a superb asparagus risotto. An interesting traditional menu, interesting Salento carpione, we choose a risotto with sturgeon and they offer us risotto with porcini mushrooms as an alternative. Excellent flavor, creamy, exceptional porcini mushrooms... shame about the cooking just ahead, which makes it lose something, but the quality remains. Wiener schnitzel, cooked in butter, good but not unforgettable. Wine list with good choice and normal mark-ups. Attentive, kind and warm service.

Authentic Piemontese food in a traditional setting. The restaurant is across the river in an area not often visited by tourists. If you are looking for the foods the locals eat, this is the place for you. We visited with a friend who has been eating here regularly since he was a student at the university in the 1970’s and not much has changed. We enjoyed house made pasta, the Grilled Lamb, and Pork with peaches. And all went well with a locale red wine, a Bonarda. Great Food. Great Value. Traditional setting.
