It is not a 5-star restaurant but it deserves 5 stars as a historic tavern that keeps tradition alive. Today I had lunch with really good farinata and boiled tongue with green sauce "bagnet" if I remember correctly and I was satisfied. I would say a stop to make if you pass by here. I had been there 30 years ago and I returned gladly remembering the old flavors

Eating at Bigat is an experience, a step back in time both for the menu and for the restaurant itself. . . I go there every time I pass through Acqui and I never regret it!!

14/03/2025: I often order from them, especially for birthday cakes, which I consider very good and well-decorated, and once even reasonably priced. I fear that, unfortunately, they have raised their prices a bit too much lately, which is a shame.
