All traditional dishes from Acqui with markedly Ligurian influences, for an excellent result. Buseca, stewed tripe, stocafisso all'Acquese (exceptional), ravioli excellent in all ways (even with barbera, as our grandparents and great-grandparents and great-grandparents ate them), green tongue, Roccaverano cheese. Gorgeous! The only flaw, damn, the farinata (which is excellent) with the addition of rosemary. So, rosemary is not needed, there is no discussion. It's a dogma. Go around Genoa and you will never find the weasel cu u'rusmarin. ...

A stop at the ancient Osteria Da Bigat is in my opinion a must to savor the true and typical Acquese and Piedmontese cuisine. Fabulous stewed tripe, as well as the fried mushrooms, I have rarely tasted them as good as here, light and tasty to perfection.
Sympathy and courtesy of the patron and staff. I highly recommend.

Excellent location and exceptional welcome. Quality food; a spectacular boiled meat; with a head that is not at all "fatty" and has a truly exceptional delicacy on the palate. Next time I'm in those parts I'll try the other dishes; also of exquisite preparation and taste. Well done. Truly nice people.

You eat spectacular stockfish. Varied and purely Piedmontese home-made menu with tripe, anchovies, cheeses. The farinata is also excellent. Traditional place. Advised.

Atmosphere of times gone by, honest prices, quality ingredients, right in the center of Acqui, a place worth a visit. I recommend tagliolini with mushrooms, farinata and fried mushrooms (be careful, they are not on the menu and we spent a whopping 15 euros for 6 fried mushrooms )

Posto che si è fermato al 1960,e ci sta ,a me piacciono certi posti tipici,però dovrebbero curarlo,ci sono le luci appese al muro con la polvere del 60,ragnatele alle porte ,veniamo al cibo ,farinata ottima,tagliolini ai funghi sufficienti,buono il tris del bigat ,ma il bollito proprio no,.un piatto triste tre fette di lingua e tre di manzo ,sottili e due pezzi di cotenna ,buona la salsa verde e anche il manzo marinato è triste ,praticamente una bresaola ,discreto il dolce e servizio così così un sorriso in più non guasta ,non consigliato
