It is not a 5-star restaurant but it deserves 5 stars as a historic tavern that keeps tradition alive. Today I had lunch with really good farinata and boiled tongue with green sauce "bagnet" if I remember correctly and I was satisfied. I would say a stop to make if you pass by here. I had been there 30 years ago and I returned gladly remembering the old flavors

Eating at Bigat is an experience, a step back in time both for the menu and for the restaurant itself. . . I go there every time I pass through Acqui and I never regret it!!

Motorbike trip from Genoa with an obligatory stop to eat in this old trattoria. The farinata with rosemary is excellent, not to be missed among the appetizers. Try the other Piedmontese dishes.

Siamo tornati perché avevamo un buon ricordo di una bettola semplice dove si mangiava bene e si spendeva il giusto. Il cibo è rimasto buono (Anche se il bollito misto doveva essere un po' più cotto) ma il conto si è alzato di parecchio (2 persone 75 euro in una bettola è un po' esagerato)
