The food was exceptional, the service was friendly and the Lambrusco fresh and delicious. Generous servings, affordable prices and a very funny and witty host made it an even better experience. Highly recommended!

Excellent trattoria. We booked because we knew it was a place where you eat very well, especially the typical dishes. In fact it was the place where we ate really very well. The dishes were really delicious. Compliments especially for the service. The girl was very kind and friendly. The owner and his wife are fantastic people. Excellent first courses, fabulous tigelle and fried gnocco... what can I say... a UNIQUE place!!!

We found ourselves by chance in this tavern, a family dinner. We ate well and spent the right amount. Good quality products. Excellent service. Beppe and his son are two real people who like to do their job. We felt pampered. Thank you

Great service and atmosphere. For us though the taste of the food was where this place lacked. We were drawn in by the reviews saying this was the best food they had, but we had the opposite experience and would place it at the bottom of the restaurants we've been to in three weeks.

Wir waren spontan dort auf der Rückfahrt zu unserem Hotel. Obwohl Freitag und ausgebucht, jedoch noch früh am Abend, hat der Chef kurzerhand improvisiert und uns untergebracht Das Essen wurde direkt zubereitet. Der Koch hat uns mehrfach durch die Küchentür gefragt, ob es schmeckt. Wir hatten die Gnoccos mit Schinken, die hausgemachten Nudeln, Tiramisu und Kaffeesorbet. Incl. Hauswein. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Abbiamo pranzato presso questa osteria scelta in base alle recensioni. Locale molto accogliente con un servizio cortese e presente. Tutto ciò che ci è stato offerto ha rispecchiato le aspettative. Porzioni decisamente generose e prezzi contenuti. Consigliatissimo!!!!

21/06/2025: For a wedding lunch. Food, service and environment are all ok. For the rest, the newlyweds who contacted the restaurant were asked to pay for everything in advance and here I would already have something to say, but they are young and in a particular period and accepted so that's it. After that they were presented with an extra for 30 bottles of wine at €20 each, even 20 would have been a lot. They took advantage of it a TOTAL. In order not to find anything to say and to end everything in the best way, the guys PAID and THAT'S IT. THEY DIDN'T MAKE A GREAT FIGURE, what you deserve is ok beyond.......... We also work with word of mouth but in this case BYE. Even for a wedding, money doesn't rain from the sky. Anyway, good work to Calcagnino.
19/06/2025: What more could you want..... Extraordinary food, top quality raw materials cooked with skill. Kind, prepared and smiling staff. Location? A CASTLE!!!!!!! The bill is certainly not low..... But deserved! When you give so much.... It is right to be paid adequately!!! Bravissimi!
