All these low reviews must have eaten at a different restaurant. Great food, atmosphere, and attentive staff. Came in last minute when they were booked up and they fit me in which was greatly appreciated.

A surprising and very welcome find. They accommodated a group of 20 with no fuss and they all raved about the freshness and the flavours of the food. The simplicity and flavours of the bruschetta was a highlight.

Since we're talking about a restaurant, it does what you'd expect from a restaurant excellently: excellent Apulian cuisine. Beautiful venue, large tables, friendly staff. Very good value for money.

La Porta Rossa – my number one in Milan!
Alessandro and his brother Antonio do a fantastic job. The food is authentic, honest, and brings the true flavor of Puglia to the plate. Every dish tastes like it's from southern Italy – fresh, homemade, and cooked with love. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and simply a cuisine you can feel.
For me, the best address in Milan – my absolute number one! 🇮🇹❤️

We went here for dinner for two, booking with The Fork.
The food is good, the staff is friendly, but unfortunately the only downside is the price. Considering a 30% discount for a second course each, with 1 liter of water and 1 glass of wine, we still spent almost €80.
Despite the high price, we were happy with the evening and the quality of the food.
I recommend it.

A historic restaurant that faithfully serves Apulian cuisine, located just a few hundred meters from the Central Station, on the elegant Via Vittor Pisani. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food exceptional, and the portions generous. The service is attentive but... could be improved. Prices are absolutely fair, especially compared to the average in Milan. Recommended! 👍

The restaurant is a bit dated. Apulian, yes, but not overly so. In the sense that the flavor of Puglia perhaps resided in the previous generation of owners.

Wonderful! Dinner on a Sunday evening. Restaurant opened for our group, special menu, seafood or pasta or lasagna. Everyone raved as to their dishes. Our carbonara was excellent. Our table had charcuterie boards and “local” meatballs, both excellent. The rest of our table had an orecchiette dish which all loved. The other tables of seafood and lasagna were equally impressed. Table wine was great, bread excellent. We had tiramisu and it was excellent. Wonderful time, excellent service. Stopped briefly to talk to owner and they were so nice, especially opening on a Sunday evening for our group. I would recommend to all who are in that area of Milan to visit for a wonderful dining experience

Tiene un patio grande muy bien ambientado con plantas y enredaderas que es un gusto comer ahí (también hay otros 2 salones, pero les falta encanto) . La comida es de primera calidad, lo lamentable es el pan de masa madre que tiene una costra incomible y no es lo mejor para acompañar tan exquisitos platos. Tiene buena selección de vinos. El precio es algo elevado.
