Tolmezzo , o più comunemente chiamato BORGAT , annovera nel suo Centro Storico una Location culinaria decisamente d’altri tempi dove la semplicità e le tradizioni sono di casa !
…. e qui ci siam recati per un Convivio domenicale alla ricerca degli antichi sapori friulani fatti di Frico 🥘 e di Prosciutto 🥩 , di Brovada con muset 🍜 e di Formaio 🧀 di malga ……
E poi …. , tra una portata e l’altra , tanto Vin bon 🍷 giù nel cannarozzo !!
Sintesi : una splendida giornata trascorsa tra ambienti 🪑 , vestiti d’epoca 🎎 , sapori 👅 e tante ciacole 🗣️ in libertà !!

Un bel posticino, con arredamento vecchio stile friulano.
Ma si mangia bene , e siam venuti per quello veh !
Allora i Cjarsons alle erbette ottimi e saporiti, coreografico l'impiattamento !
Spatzle con funghi e spek, buoni ma non eccezionali.
Ottimo il tiramisù della casa presentato in vasetto e il tortino con cioccolato fuso.
Servizi igenici pulitissimi e la ragazza che ci ha servito veramente brava e sempre con il sorriso ! Complimenti !

A nice place with a small secluded room set for meals. Good food with some local specialties, in fact I took the Cjarsons with herbs (a kind of ravioli filled with spinach in this case). But to start we opted for montasio soufle on herb and mint cream (the mint wasn't very noticeable). I also tasted the porcini and truffle buckwheat maltagliati (here too there was not much truffle). The white wine was good, for me a delicate and fruity souvignon, but I was also able to taste a more incisive Malvasia than the previous one. Overall a good experience.

Small environment in the heart of Tolmezzo. The Toc in brajde is sensational, the cjarsons are excellent. The risotto with blueberries, caramelized onion cold from the fridge, and cheese is completely overcooked, a real crime, because the combination would be perfect. There is ancient Carnia, there is something to improve too.

Today we had lunch in this trattoria in the center of Tolmezzo. We found the typical Friulian atmosphere; there was a wide choice of dishes, all with top quality products. We were satisfied. Excellent quality/price ratio. Advise.
My boyfriend and I came across this restaurant almost by chance and I was so pleasantly surprised that I couldn't help but leave a review!
The food was the best discovery: everything was excellent (we ordered the flan, the toç and two fricos). The house wine is good, the grappa excellent. The service was very fast and super attentive, a special compliment to the waitress who looked after us and who alone took care of the entire room. The bill is more than fair. If I end up in Tolmezzo again I will definitely come back to eat here!
Special mention for the polenta: it's always good, but here it really left you wanting to eat twelve more dishes!

Beautiful historic restaurant, excellent service, fresh dishes and generous portions.
It is located in the central area. Parking is nearby. Inside air-conditioned dining room. Characteristic place for VIPs.
