Going to Nico's for a meal and a drink is always a true pleasure; the tranquility and sense of calm the atmosphere conveys, the quality of the food and wine, the expertise and passion with which Nico explains each product are all things that can't be explained; they just have to be experienced. His staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. This is hands down one of the best places to end up in Pavia.

I had the cheese plate red wine and fennel salad. Amazing little place. Do not waste any time or calories at the piazza, for starters etc come straight here

27/06/2026: We probably arrived on the wrong night. Chaotic service. We were served after an hour and complained to the waitress. Disorganized.
24/06/2026: A relaxing place with excellent local platters, excellent service from helpful and friendly staff. Special mention for Lisa, friendly and efficient.

05/05/2026: Probably the best pizza in Pavia: cozy place, very friendly staff, delicious pizza, and crispy fries. Highly recommended.
27/04/2026: For the same price, it's better to get the sandwich, which at first glance seems much larger than the piadina. Excellent quality and quantity, everything tastes good; the only flaw is the meat; the more you eat, the saltier it gets.
