We found the inn by chance, without looking at reviews etc.
At 12.30 we entered and there were no customers inside, we know that at lunch people go to the beach, we were worried at first but then we became familiar with the waiter (Francesco) and I must say that we had fun.
With delicious food and good wine we ended up having a really good time.
The dessert (Top) a nice decomposed cannoli with ricotta that I will remember.
The owner as well as Chef is a very polite and knowledgeable person.
We will return, but above all recommended.

All I can say is that every course we have eaten and the wines we have enjoyed in this restaurant today have been amazing. I can’t believe we found Antica Locanda on the very last day of our trip. Make sure you come or you are missing a treat.

We had the fried sardines followed by sea bass, offered to us as one of the fish of the day. The best sardines and sea bass we have ever had. So fresh, almost sweet, and went well with orange salad, olive oil and a Chardonnay. We were persuaded to have panna cotta to finish. Also great. An absolutely superb restaurant for fresh fish, simply cooked. I recommend it highly

Probably one of the best meals I had in Italy. Everything was soooooo tasty. Order “Locanda” dish from Primi Piatti, it was incredible

A quiet and relaxing place. Seated outside, I enjoyed some tasty mussels with crispy croutons and cherry tomatoes. The steak was a bit thin but the wine was excellent.

L’ambiente è informale e potrebbe essere assimilato ad uno dei tanti ristoranti di Ortigia, anche se si trova un minimo defilato dalla via dei locali turistici. Quando però si legge il menù e soprattutto quando si assaggiano i piatti si ha la grande e piacevole sorpresa: su 4 scelte, 1 piatto ottimo e 3 preparazioni eccezionali ed originali. Tutto meno che un locale turistico, la giovane chef ci sa fare eccome… noi abbiamo girato vari stellati al nord ed i suoi piatti hanno poco da invidiare rispetto a quelli di alcuni chef “televisivi”. Da non mancare se si passa per Ortigia (bellissima di suo), ma vale anche uno spostamento/deviazione di qualche decina di Km. senza dubbio.
