Amazing restaurant! The chef is enthusiastic, hardworking, and knows his stuff. Seasonal dishes, and a selection of local vineyards. Highly recommended.

Best restaurant I dinner in so far after over 2 weeks in Sicily. First, it was not filled with tourists so it had more of a local feel. The owner was friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely fantastic. So fresh and delicious!! We shared several dishes including the clams & pasta and the fish di giorno. Wow! So good.

We just had a delicious meal here! A little away from the busy center of Ortigia. All dishes were freshly prepared, the wine was excellent and the service was very friendly and attentive! Price-performance ratio is right. Absolute recommendation!

One of the best restaurants of our stay in Sicily. The caponata is a real delight, melting and fragrant. The pasta alla Locanda is succulent and the ricotta dessert is pure joy. The chef is passionate, the dishes are slow-cooked, it's nice to still find restaurants like that in a tourist town at very reasonable prices. Thank you for this good moment !

Parola d’ordine: QUALITÀ! Cibo eccezionale e servizio impeccabile! Una cena che diventa un’esperienza che vorresti ripetere..è questa la sensazione che ho avuto quando sono ritornata in questo posto. Sicuramente una conferma! Se vai ad ortigia non puoi non cenare alla locanda!

Le Vin de L'assassin Bistrot

06/06/2025: We went to "Le Vin de l'Assassin" for dinner and we had a great time. The outdoor space is enchanting, the indoor one is very welcoming and characterful. The staff is very attentive and gives good advice to their customers. Recommended!
04/06/2025: Everything was incredible. The food was so good and not what you find everywhere in Sicily - a cool fusion of Sicilian cuisine with other influences. They also had vegetarian options (the gazpacho was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten). The service was also amazing. They were very friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back.
