Overall, the food was good, except for a couple of hairs in the tortellini (inside the pasta).
Very friendly staff, especially Cinzia!
Prices were a little above average, and the tables were honestly a little too close together.

Very nice terras under the trees, hidden from the blistering sun and with a lovely view on the river Mincio with its sounds from the small cascades and the old town. The staff put in all the effort to serve and advise us on their menu. Even though they were closing between 2 shifts, they let us empty our glasses in all tranquility. The evening shift would make out table clear. But we saw where they put their laundry/table cloths so we did it our selfs as a token of respect.
We had the suggestion of 4 kinds of tortellini which is a speciality of the village. Very tastefull!

Traditional local dishes. I had the tortelli in brodo; the broth was nice and rich, and I enjoyed it, but for those who prefer a less salty broth, it might be a bit too strong. The guinea fowl was delicious, and the cod was also a bit salty. We didn't order dessert, but overall, there wasn't anything we liked.
The only thing I didn't like was the air freshener in the room; it was too strong and distracting while eating.

We stumbled upon this inn by chance after visiting Borgo. It was both unexpected and surprising. The place is beautiful, and the food is reasonably priced and high quality. The tortelli al brodo are very flavorful, the onion soup is worth it, and not to mention the horse stew, which is incredibly tender. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional dishes. The waiter is very kind and can advise on wine prices without having to find out at the counter. We spent €50 for two. See for yourself! :) ps: I don't understand the complaints in some reviews. Be wary!

Despite the poor reviews, I recommend everyone to eat here if you happen to be in Borghetto. The place is gorgeous, an old building that does everything for you. We came here on New Year's Eve by chance, having not booked the traditional "gala dinner." The head waiter was kind and professional, the food was excellent, from appetizers to coffee. But then there's him, the reason to return: the gentleman who welcomes you sitting at the counter, an elderly man whose family has run the place since 1919. He has an old-fashioned kindness that truly sets this place apart from all the others in the area. I didn't ask her name, but thank you, it was the best money I've ever spent. See you soon.

It was a warm July day and after visiting the local fortress we decided to stop in the cool shade of beautiful trees standing behind the bridge over the river… white tablecloths gently flopping in the wind, lots of attentive waiters that were always smiling, amazing food and wine and most importantly an atmosphere of those good old times, that can be barely found in today’s world. I’m not surprised that Margaret Thatcher came back multiple times. Thank you, it was a beautiful experience, I’m sure we will be back. You’re amazing.

An ancient medieval inn located in a fairytale setting. Quality food and ingredients, and attentive, friendly staff. A stop here is highly recommended.

A wonderful place both inside and out on a beautiful sunny day; the staff were incredibly kind and friendly...the food was delicious!!! A must-see when passing through Borghetto!!

A place with an ancient, medieval feel. The lounge is beautiful with giant paintings and that enormous fireplace! Fantastic. I had the tortellini in broth and they were truly fantastic, then I had the pumpkin tortelli and they were amazing... sweet, sweet pumpkin. The owner is also very nice and contributes in his own way to making the atmosphere... special, let's say 😊. Well done.
