We enjoyed Christmas lunch in a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed each course; we appreciated the sophisticated flavor combinations as well as the excellent wines. The service was welcoming, attentive, and courteous. We can't wait until next Christmas to return!

I spent Christmas lunch at Antica Locanda El Grio with my loved ones and it was a truly pleasant experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the traditional dishes were carefully prepared, and the flavors were authentic. The friendly and attentive service made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

We ate really well; all the dishes were well-prepared. The chestnut cream was delicious. Only one comment: the owners' arguments could be heard from the dining room.

Exceptional hospitality, with a reserved area for coats and personal items, a rustic yet well-kept atmosphere. The host welcomed us warmly from the start on a cool December evening. The menu features seasonal adjustments, which assumes fresh, local produce. The wine is self-explanatory in this area. The chef mistook me for Olly, and what can I say? We'll be back! I don't usually write reviews, but this inn deserves it! The place is very cute, the food delicious, and the service impeccable. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We stopped at this inn after a long mountain bike ride around the Soave hills. Despite the delay and our outfits, worsened by the mud, the manager welcomed us warmly, making us feel at ease and indicating a safe place for our bikes. The lunch exceeded our expectations; the dishes were refined, the house wine was good, and the Recioto Bianco served with dessert was excellent. Traditional coffee, made with an upside-down moka pot. Thank you for a wonderful day; we'll be back soon to share your cuisine with our wives.

Excellent dishes: the risotto with Soave wine and caciocavallo cheese was wonderful, light yet flavorful. The zucchini absolute with its crispy flower was also delicious, not to mention the sugoli tart, typical of this season. You could definitely taste it was homemade. Recommended!

Staying for a couple of days in Soave... looking for typical yet "original" restaurants, we found it all at the inn. Excellent, refined cuisine and great expertise...we tried the chef's surprise tasting menu...we couldn't have made a better choice.... Highly recommended....

I couldn't wait to write this review! We were returning from Milan to Venice and, while searching for a restaurant on Google, we came across this inn, which was a wonderful discovery! You know when everything is perfect from A to Z? There you go! At this inn, everything was perfect! From the welcome, to the service, to the food, to the price—everything! We relied on Paolo, who gave us the perfect wine to pair with each course, something I've never found anywhere else because they usually let you choose the wine you'll drink from start to finish. Nicola helped us choose the food and portions, allowing us to enjoy sublime food! The cured meats and cheeses were of the highest quality, and the risotto kept its promise of being one of the best because it's their signature dish, for which they've deservedly won awards. The horse meat pastissada, a dish we'd never tried before, was simply extraordinary! Accompanied by cabbage (which I adore) cooked in wine and a hint of cinnamon, it was heavenly! We didn't make it to dessert just because we were feeling good, but I'm 100% sure that would have been perfect too... and to finish, the coffee made with the Neapolitan moka pot was TOP! So if you read this review and decide to visit this place, you'll think of me fondly. Thank you, Paolo and Nicola, and thank you to your mother! Non vedevo l’ora di fare questa recensione! Stavamo tornando da Milano in direzione Venezia e, cercando un ristorante tramite google, siamo capitati in questa locanda che è stata una meravigliosa scoperta! Avete presente quando tutto dalla A alla Z è perfetto? Ecco! In questa locanda tutto è stato perfetto! Dall’accoglienza, al servizio al cibo al prezzo, tutto! Ci siamo affidati a Paolo che per ogni portata ci dava il vino adatto ad accompagnarlo, cosa che non ho mai trovato da nessuna parte perché generalmente ti fanno scegliere il vino che berrai dall’inizio alla fine. Nicola ci ha aiutati nella scelta del cibo e le porzioni facendoci gustare dei cibi sublimi! Affettati e i formaggi di grande qualità, il risotto che mantiene la promessa di essere uno dei migliori perché è il loro piatto forte per il quale sono stati meritatamente premiati. La pastissada di cavallo, un piatto che non avevamo mai assaggiato, qualcosa di straordinario! Accompagnato da un cavolo cappuccio (che io adoro) cotto nel vino e una nota di cannella, paradisiaco! Al dolce non ci siamo arrivati solo perché eravamo apposto, ma sono certa al 100% che anche quello sarebbe stato perfetto… e per concludere il caffè fatto con la moka napoletana TOP!
