I couldn't wait to write this review! We were returning from Milan to Venice and, while searching for a restaurant on Google, we came across this inn, which was a wonderful discovery! You know when everything is perfect from A to Z? There you go! At this inn, everything was perfect! From the welcome, to the service, to the food, to the price—everything! We relied on Paolo, who gave us the perfect wine to pair with each course, something I've never found anywhere else because they usually let you choose the wine you'll drink from start to finish. Nicola helped us choose the food and portions, allowing us to enjoy sublime food! The cured meats and cheeses were of the highest quality, and the risotto kept its promise of being one of the best because it's their signature dish, for which they've deservedly won awards. The horse meat pastissada, a dish we'd never tried before, was simply extraordinary! Accompanied by cabbage (which I adore) cooked in wine and a hint of cinnamon, it was heavenly! We didn't make it to dessert just because we were feeling good, but I'm 100% sure that would have been perfect too... and to finish, the coffee made with the Neapolitan moka pot was TOP! So if you read this review and decide to visit this place, you'll think of me fondly. Thank you, Paolo and Nicola, and thank you to your mother! The food was fantastic, the service phenomenal! We bumped into this lovely restaurant by accident and had a great evening. Thanks a lot for spontaneously opening up for us even before opening hours. We surely recommend anyone in the area to come and visit - it is absolutely worth it!

Great value for money! Based on the recommendations of other reviews, we opted for the Menu dello Chef. It was beautifully presented, varied, and well-seasoned. A real experience, as you only find out about the ingredients afterward. To make a reservation, it's best to drive directly to the restaurant or call. Unfortunately, Google's opening hours aren't accurate. The entire team is very entertaining and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I can highly recommend it. The value for money in this family-run business is almost unbeatable. The owner is also happy to help with anything he can.

Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante a pochi km dal centro di Soave. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo con piatti ricercati, materie prime eccellenti coccolati in cucina dallo Chef Nicola coadiuvato dalla mamma e in sala dal fratello Paolo, sommelier che ci ha fatto fare un percorso con diversi tipi di Soave abbinati ai piatti scelti Prezzo corretto e sicuramente un posto da ricordare e nel caso di una nuova visita a Soave sicuramente ci torneremo

We had dinner at this restaurant a few km from the centre of Soave. We ate very well with refined dishes, excellent raw materials pampered in the kitchen by Chef Nicola assisted by his mother and in the dining room by his brother Paolo, a sommelier who took us on a journey with different types of Soave paired with the chosen dishes The price was right and it was definitely a place to remember and in the event of a new visit to Soave we will definitely return

Cenato in questo ristorante cercato via internet. Ottima sorpresa, piatti della tradizione e non solo. Personale attento e gentile. Caffè non il solito caffè. Bravi . Da tornare per assaggiare altri piatti

Sunday 16 February 2025, passing by chance in those areas, we stopped for lunch at the Il Grio inn. Already at the entrance the manager's welcome was expansive and dictated by great courtesy (highly appreciated). The place is clean and modern. The 2 brothers who run the inn know how to do their job, nothing to say; affable to the right degree, in love with their territory as it should be. Their friendliness and positivity is never lacking and can be felt in the air. But let's get to the dishes, which are all excellent, refined, precisely plated... wines explained in detail by the innkeeper in their characteristics. These guys all deserve 5 stars.
