From the outside you wouldn't say it but what a historical interior with friendly service and exceptionally tasty food. The house wine was also delicious. This is really going back in time in terms of appearance. We really felt like we were staying in the typical Tuscan kitchen of years ago. I certainly hope to be able to come back again.

Excellent restaurant along the road that from Lucca enters Garfagnana. Excellent dishes, both for first courses and for appetizers and second courses. Very good the tordelli with ragu or asparagus. Good the first course with partisan and bacon seasoned inside the cheese form. Very good the sliced ​​steak and the fillet. Good desserts too, I tried the hot fruit salad with ice cream. Unfortunately I never tried the wine because I only had business lunches. Extremely courteous but also conversational service. Highly recommended

A parte l'ambiente decisamente vintage, con perlinato alle pareti e la pietra nera dal passare del tempo, la cucina è di buon livello. Avrebbe bisogno di una buona "rinfrescata" agli ambienti che ogni volta che andiamo, sembrano sempre più tetri!

Locanda caratteristica ad una decina di km da Lucca. Piatti tipici della cucina lucchese e toscana davvero molto buoni...direi ottimi. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Prezzo nella norma.

20/06/2025: We were totally impressed by this store! The selection of gluten-free products is truly exceptional; you rarely find such a variety. We were particularly impressed by the fresh focaccias and croissants; they were wonderfully fresh and delicious. What we were particularly pleased about was that they even had refrigerated products, such as fresh gluten-free tortellini and other refrigerated goods. Unfortunately, we couldn't take any of these with us because we were driving and it was very hot that day; the products would have gone bad on the journey. The lady in the store was incredibly friendly, took her time, and responded to all our questions and requests. She even gave us tips on where to find certain gluten-free products in Germany. The prices are really fair in comparison, and the selection of alternative products is impressive. A highly recommended place for anyone who relies on a gluten-free diet – or is simply looking for high-quality specialty products.

11/07/2025: My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner, intrigued by the boat service... a discovery! Fantastic mixed fried food... quality ingredients, it melted in your mouth... the guys were friendly and fast.
08/07/2025: Delicious food! I recommend! We bought grilled salmon - juicy, delicious. Also, the mozzarella in batter was delicious and the fish balls were filling. Cooked quickly and well!
