We have been to so many excellent restaurants in the area but this was our favorite. Absolutely worth trying is their pasta with bacon and Tuscan pecorino, and their grilled dishes. All a bomb, and all at more than fair prices. Truly number one on our Tuscan trip, congratulations.

Excellent quality food with a point of excellence in the fillet with porcini mushroom cap. Adequate portions, price absolutely in line with the quality of the raw material. All ennobled by the attentive, courteous and professional service. Highly recommended experience!

We went for lunch today, we are staying in the area for a short holiday.
The strong point is certainly represented by the hospitality of the staff because EVERYONE from the chef, to the sommelier, to the head waiter, to the waiters have always been kind, polite, helpful and with a smile on their faces, which is not at all a given.
As for the food it was a fantastic culinary experience and for me as a vegetarian I found several options.
Generous portions and excellent value for money.
A plus to the brut rosé sparkling wine from Tenuta Buonamico di Monte Carlo recommended to us by the sommelier.
Well done everyone, we will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Locale semplice ma elegante gestito da professionisti che con grande simpatia fanno sentire subito a proprio agio. Cibi ottimi della tradizione lucchese e non e prezzi onesti. Esperienza sicuramente molto positiva e da rifare. Consigliatissimo!

We have been coming here in the early Spring for years. I think you could say we are "regulars". The family owners and the staff are always welcoming. The restaurant is an authentic country trattoria and an experience not to be missed if you are a tourist and want to see how Italians enjoy dining with friends and families. You will certainly want to see (and enjoy) how beef is cut/served at the table and how the "spaghetti in a parmesan bowl" is prepared and served at the table. Lamberto and his Mother will take good care of you. Francesco will help you find the perfect wine. Enjoy!
