Antica Hostaria In Cagliari

We chose Antica Hostaria for our company dinner, and the experience was truly excellent in every way. The setting is refined, welcoming, and perfect for large groups, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The food was excellent: beautifully presented dishes, quality ingredients, and balanced flavors that satisfied everyone. The service deserves special mention: the staff were professional, friendly, and always attentive to the needs of the guests, without ever being intrusive. An absolutely positive experience that we recommend for both business dinners and special occasions. Antonio and Claudio are true professionals. <3 We'll definitely be back! Also recommended for tourists who want to savor the delicacies of Sardinian cuisine.

We came and asked for something that was not on the menu. We wanted bread, butter and salt on the side. Also tagliatelle with cream, mushroom and ham. Everything was absolutely amazing ❤️

Where we sat was amazing it was amazing. The food was good. Everything about it was beautiful. I had the crab linguine. I highly recommend and my mum had the clams and she loves them too. It's a great restaurant to come to. It's on a little street near a tap shop.

The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were excellent, and the service was equally good.

A very good meal, the pasta was al dente and the tuna was perfectly prepared. It was a perfect evening. Without hesitation, I recommend this very good restaurant.

An exceptional evening. During a 15-day trip to Sardinia, we ate good food, often good pasta. At Antica Hostaria, it was a real delight. We tried pasta that was a bit bland, sometimes too salty, but always well-cooked at many of the restaurants we visited. Tonight was a marvel. For me, pasta with porcini mushrooms (porcini mushrooms are very firm and flavorful, there's no need to mask their flavor with tricks well-known to more experienced chefs), and for my wife, for a change from lobster or shrimp, pasta with crab. (It tasted like crab, good news.) The products are extremely fresh and of high quality, say connoisseurs. The house wines are excellent, both white and red, to be enjoyed in complete tranquility. The welcome is warm; it is said that Sardinians are not very expansive, and we were surprised by everyone's kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. The service is exceptionally efficient, cheerful, and discreet, as requested. Sure, there are many good restaurants in town, but Antica Hostaria is worth a detour. It's impeccable. The prices are also very reasonable. I'm surprised by the 4.0 rating on TripAdvisor. Frankly, it's worth much more. My best dinner in 15 days in Sardinia. Everything is going great.

Antonio and Claudio are very warm hosts. I immediately felt welcomed, like I was staying with friends. The food is freshly prepared and tastes delicious. I will definitely return on my next visit to Cagliari.
