Hearty and flavorful pastas, delicious tiramisu, hard-working owners who are friendly, locals filling every table. A translation aid was helpful for us since we speak and understand Italian very poorly. Dinner menu looked spectacular, but we were there for the lunch hour when an €11 set menu was offered with pasta, water, coffee, and cover included. Great affordable spot in the middle of downtown, the price makes this a gem for travelers on a tight budget.

Mediocre place with a somewhat rude waiter, who I think is the owner. The menu is limited, and they don't accept meal vouchers. Relatively cheap, the gnocchi are good.

Located on a secondary hill, a 2-minute walk from the Santa Sofia metro station. A casual yet welcoming place, with friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food and generous portions. Whether for lunch or dinner, eating at this hostaria will make you feel like you're at grandma's. Highly recommended!

Excellent osteria with a fixed lunch menu. Fresh pasta, handmade gnocchi, and spectacular sauces (try the desperate and sausage ones). Excellent crème caramel.

Authentic Italian cuisine and family atmosphere, the server is incredibly kind. The dishes are excellent and the setting is typically Italian. The price is more than reasonable: 45 euros for a two-course starter and 1 dessert, including a drink.

In Mailand mussten wir fast ein Ossobuco essen und hier gab es (für uns) den besten der Stadt. Die Pasta war auch sehr lecker. Gute Portionen und zu einem fairen Preis. Service sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Kleines und einfach eingerichtetes Lokal. Unbedingt reservieren, da es oft ausgebucht ist. Absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

01/11/2025: I've tried it on 3-4 other occasions, always satisfied. The old-fashioned atmosphere, Milanese food, and friendly service make it a must-visit for me, who adores the Milan of my grandparents. It's so nice to speak a little Milanese dialect...I'll definitely return.
30/10/2025: A true Milanese trattoria in the heart of Baggio Vecchia. A family atmosphere, with a friendly, helpful, and welcoming host and staff. Delicious food, just as Milanese tradition demands! Bravo, bravo!

Antica Trattoria di San Galdino

13/10/2025: A beautiful village trattoria located in the characteristic setting of the Milanese countryside. I have little to say about Trattoria San Galdino: authentic and delicious dishes, kind and helpful staff, an excellent selection of wines, and top-quality homemade desserts. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal.
15/09/2025: We went for lunch and ate really well, the Milanese cutlet and appetizer were truly delicious! 👍. Hot dishes, waiting time, preparation time 👍 really good people. A little expensive in terms of prices but we were very satisfied and we recommend it. We will be back! 😂😂😋😋😋
