It was a tip from the hotel. They serve authentic, traditional snack food here. I was served quickly and also got a super cold beer. You can eat at small standing tables in front of the snack bar. Thumbs up!

People were friendly but both flavours’ arancina had undercooked rice. I had arancina many times across Sicily and the rice was hard.

We went perhaps after hours because it was already 2pm and the things we got were cold. It's a shame because the flavor was there but cold fried food isn't the best.

Our first lunch as soon as we arrived in Palermo, a pleasure! Crocché bread and panelle, arancina with ham and cheese, rascature, goodness and kindness, don't miss to stop by here if you're nearby!

The arancini meat is plentiful and delicious. 1.5 euros of happiness. The owner is very kind. A place I want to come to every morning.

10/05/2025: Small but very nice place. The staff welcomed us very well and were very helpful. The burgers are exceptional and the pizza dough excellent. Experience that I recommend. I'll be back.

19/05/2025: While I was hospitalized in Parma I was thinking about something delicious to buy when I was discharged... a wonderful CASSATA, what could be better as a dessert? So I studied the best pastry shops in Palermo and the surrounding area to share a delicious cassata with my family. I chose Scimone because everyone speaks highly of it, plus in terms of shipping it is fantastic, I placed the order on Sunday afternoon, Monday it was produced and shipped, Tuesday morning it was at my house (Ancona). Wonderful! I don't make rankings because it is not my job and tastes are subjective, but one thing is certain: Scimone's cassata is delicious! Next time I'll try the cannoli because the ricotta was really good
