You can't pass through Livorno without tasting Gagarin's chickpea cake. Excellent with both the sandwich and the schiacciata. Accompanied by a nice glass of foam it makes you smile again. Courteous and helpful staff.

I drooled with every bite at the crunchiness of the flatbread followed by the softness of the cake (woe to calling it cecina!). But what really made me enjoy it was the addition of eggplant. Beautifully tasty, greasy and garlicky AS IT SHOULD BE LONG LONG LONG LIVE CHICKPEA CAKE, LONG LONG LONG LIVE GARLICITY and LONG LONG LIVE GAGARIN!

Here you can eat delicious chickpea cake! Among the best if not the best in Livorno. my favorite combination is the 5 and 5 (once 5 cents of bread and 5 cents of cake) with the addition of aubergines under pesto (carpione) of your choice in the French bread (baguette) or in the focaccia. A glass of blonde foam or a beer completes the menu to be consumed directly in the restaurant or on the wall in front. You can also take away. Absolutely from try.

Friendly, approachable environment and staff. A place where you stop for lunch, stools, a chat and good food. The best 5 and 5 ever!!

28/02/2025: An excellent Italian restaurant! We came to Livorno to film a video for my YouTube channel Tourist Travel 4K channel and decided to have dinner here. Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and incredibly delicious food. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the tiramisu was simply divine. Definitely coming back!
18/02/2025: Good evening, we stayed for the evening of February 14th...... and one of the many evenings we had eaten, and truly a welcoming place, very attentive service, excellent food, cacciucco FA-VO-LO-SO!!!!! Restaurant to recommend. Here you can see that they work doing what they like. (5 stars)

08/03/2025: Tonight my partner and I had dinner in this cute and super nice place. We had 2 starters, a tartare and wild boar ham... amazing! A cheek and cured wild boar for the second course... the meat was very tender, it melted in your mouth and the red wine from Suvereto was excellent! Super honest price, given the generous portions... what can I say, thank you, we will definitely be back!!!
