The chickpea cake here is fantastic, nothing more to say. The prices are fair and in line with the quality of the cake.

Absolutely unmissable. 5e5 and cake are a true institution here, best enjoyed with a nice glass of sparkling wine. It's worth the wait in line; the bread and cake are always warm. You can't pass through Livorno without stopping here.

This place does one thing extremely well, I love it and I'm biased but I believe it's one of the best torta di ceci I've ever had. Reasonable pricing.

I was incredibly stubborn to try this, as I don't like chickpeas. But my boyfriend somehow convinced me that it's best served with eggplant and Spuma Bionda. Good luck!

This is the right place to eat an excellent 5&5 accompanied by a blond foam.

The 5 e 5 (bread and cake / sandwich with cecina) is good, a classic grab-and-go place (very few seats with a shelf on the wall for support), the queue is a bit long despite the organisation and speed of the managers.

Today was our second visit to Da Gagarin Di Chiappa Giuliano and we once again indulged ourselves in fabulous cecina – this delicious chickpea flatbread specialty. This time we had the classic version and one with an eggplant topping – both simply unbelievably delicious! This farinata (known in Tuscany as torta di ceci) is a signature street food – vegan, gluten-free, and incredibly filling – consisting of chickpea flour, water, olive oil, and salt, sometimes seasoned with rosemary, and baked wafer-thin in a wood-fired oven. The combination of a crispy crust and a tender, creamy interior is a true delight. Da Gagarin is a true insider tip for locals and tourists alike – traditional, authentic, and extremely popular with everyone – Livorno residents and holidaymakers alike.
