To define the staff as courteous is an understatement. Fantastic products, the cannoli is an absolute must. As soon as I passed by, the smell of the bread captivated me and I decided that I had to stop and take a look, once I realized that it's a waste not to take something from them. I also got a takeaway sandwich and they told me I would fall in love with it at the first bite, so I did.

we took a cunzato sandwich, good. the girls were really cute, kind and nice, you should enter just for them, considering that in Palermo we found all the shopkeepers always with an annoyed look, it was even more pleasant to see smiles and jokes

Traditional Monrealese bakery in the center near the cathedral. They have a lot of savory vegan choices, such as the classic Monreale bread and pizzas with potatoes or vegetables. Unfortunately, the desserts and biscuits are all made with lard and eggs, after all, tradition is like that. Super quality and low prices! Very kind and helpful staff. You can also eat at the tables inside.

What a gem. Recommended by Rick Steves Sicily guide book, this old tucked away local bakery is everything you’d imagine. The smells alone will get you, the pizza will keep you. Started in 1890, they clearly know what they’re doing!
