Farmacia dei Sani is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Castellanza. It can no longer be called an osteria (as its historic sign says), both for its attentive and professional service (like a high-end restaurant), its table setting (white tablecloths and glasses suitable for fine wines), and, above all, its prices (all dishes average around €18-20 per course).
In short, if you're looking for an excellent restaurant with medium-high prices that are still proportionate to the quality of the offerings, this is the place!

This was our second visit to this restaurant. I must say my husband and I had a truly wonderful time. The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients. The color combinations in the dishes were also beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining room was warm and welcoming, with a fireplace. The wines were perfect. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

An excellent restaurant offering refined and unique dishes. The pleasant and refined atmosphere makes for a comfortable experience, as does the chef, who explains the unique characteristics of each course and offers suggestions on how to best enjoy the dishes. The wait staff is courteous, friendly, and efficient. The wines are sourced from Tenuta Montemagno; it's hard not to find one that doesn't pair well with the food and your taste, enhancing an already excellent experience. Recommended if you want to impress your guests or treat your loved one to a special moment.

Excellent experience and, above all, excellent food!! The agnolotti and the ossobuco with its saffron risotto, well-creamed and generous portions. The squid ink risotto and the sliced steak were also excellent. The service was professional and never intrusive. The tiramisu and chocolate fondant were delicious. Excellent selection of wines at more than reasonable prices. The menu is not extensive, which I think is a merit and a sign of quality. The number of dishes is limited, but they are made properly. In short, I will gladly return.
