Antica Cucina 1983 In Barletta

Amazing food, exquisitely presented. I asked for something off the menu so they inquired and the chef was happy to accommodate us, but then when they explained their business lunch formula we decided to take that. It. Included a glass of wine and water which we drank out of lovely porcelaine cups which kept the water cool. They were obviously proud to show off local ingredients. There was a little « amuse bouche » that wasn’t marked on the menu served with a while basket of fresh bread rolls and home made taralli. The starter was octopus followed by fresh strascinati with courgette flowers etc. As dessert we had a delicious cake with pistachios and fresh fruit accompanied by a plate of the local grapes served on ice. The restaurant was not crowded and had a tastefully discrete, calm vibe. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. It was the prefect last meal of our holiday in Italy. We came out feeling more than satisfied and there were no nasty surprises in the bill. It was more than good value for money. I can only recommend it, the staff and the food. A wonderful find. I came with my husband for lunch on Friday the 19th. September.

A calm and welcoming place with delicious food and good wine... all accompanied by the kindness of the waiters and the friendliness of the owner of the place. What can I say? I didn't take many photos of the dishes I ate, I only took a few, but I'm satisfied with this place.

Fabulous dinner in a truly elegant and traditional location. We chose the tasting menu, which is a must-try: quality dishes made with fresh ingredients. The service was engaging and friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well in a traditional restaurant in Barletta.

We found ourselves here by chance, and luckily, it was. A very quiet atmosphere with soothing background music, perfectly cool on a hot August day. The staff were incredibly welcoming. The dishes were each better than the last, with a free sampler while waiting for the main course. The prices were truly fair. Even the amenities, like the bathroom, spotlessly clean and equipped with mini towels, made you feel right at home.

Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, professional and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended! Next time we're in Barletta, we'll definitely be back!

L'atmosfera accogliente e curata del locale ha rappresentato la cornice ideale per un momento di puro piacere culinario. La qualità del cibo era di un livello eccezionale. Ogni piatto che ho assaggiato era preparato con ingredienti freschissimi e di primissima scelta, esaltando i sapori autentici della cucina locale. Si percepiva la maestria e la passione dello chef nel reinterpretare la tradizione con un tocco di raffinatezza. Desidero sottolineare la professionalità e la gentilezza di tutto il personale. In particolare, sia Francesco che Nicola si sono dimostrati estremamente premurosi e attenti ad ogni dettaglio, contribuendo a rendere il servizio impeccabile e l'esperienza ancora più gradevole. La loro cordialità e professionalità sono state davvero apprezzabili. Consiglio vivamente l'Antica Cucina 1983 per un pranzo speciale a Barletta. La combinazione di cibo di altissima qualità, servizio attento e atmosfera piacevole, unita alla cortesia di persone come Francesco e Nicola, lo rende un'ottima scelta per chi desidera concedersi un'esperienza gastronomica di livello superiore.
