Antica Casa Rava In Alessandria

What a pleasure to be able to taste typical Italian dishes in a vegan version! It's incredible and delicious. I recommend you order a tasting menu to try several dishes (bonus, it's very generous!). You won't be disappointed!!

My colleague and I were in Alessandria for work. We went to this fabulous, very cute and welcoming place. I ate very well, and I had the delicious tiramisu. The prices are reasonable, and I recommend it to everyone!

Impeccable and courteous service. They explain how the tasting menu works. There's a display case where you can browse and choose (delicatessen style, but definitely well-stocked). The vegan cuisine is truly excellent and delicious. I'm completely satisfied. It's worth a visit. Be aware that the place is very small, so it's best to check availability.

Excellent vegan food, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and main courses. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly. A wonderful discovery in Alessandria! I recommend the tasting menu to try different dishes.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. So: you're welcomed like you're at home. The guy who accompanies you—I think his name is Christian (and forgive me if I'm wrong)—explains all the ways to order food. There's a tasting menu or à la carte. A display case brimming with delicacies awaits you. Delicious appetizers and first courses, a perfectly balanced dessert. Unfortunately, we couldn't order a second course because the portions are so generous. The place is spotless, and the beer is excellent. I recommend going to the bathroom even if you don't feel like peeing. Well done, guys! Really well done!

Normally I like to write very elaborate reviews. This one doesn't need one. You just have to take my word if I tell you this is a dinner you would never forget. Go here, don't hold back and enjoy an outstanding experience. If you're in two, I highly recommend both taking the 4-dish tasting platter, so you get to try 8 dishes together! Every single dish is worth trying, but it was the flan with peperoni that did it for us. We even ordered it again after. It was otherworldly. The farinata-like texture of the flan, accompanied with a straganoff inspired sauce made us fly. The unique menu deserves a special mention as well: a tiny vinyl record with the restaurant manifesto on the inside. I think it could actually be played! A QR-code on the back brings you to the online menu. A restaurant I would come back for when I am in Italy again.

Exactly the place I was dreaming of! Traditional Italian cuisine made vegan. My highlights: mozzarella in carrozza and tiramisu!

Siamo stati a mangiare all'antica casa Rava domenica scorsa. Intanto l'accoglienza gentile e premurosa della signora, la cuoca, ci ha piacevolmente colpito. Io ho optato per un menù con 4 scelte; mio marito ha preferito scegliere 2 piatti singoli... La cucina è ottima, gustosa, leggera ma soprattutto sana. Siamo abituati a mangiare vegano, pur non essendo lo, per motivi soprattutto di salute e questa gastronomia non ci ha affatto deluso. Ottimi anche il calice di Barbera che ha accompagnato i nostri piatti e il Tiramisù, per concludere degnamente il pasto. Certamente ritorneremo quando nuovamente saremo in Piemonte, in zona di Alessandria, per una gita o piccola vacanza.

Per chi non è vegetariano una esperienza da fare, ottimi piatti, cucinati molto bene. Consigliata la CacioRava e la carraia.
