Sandwiches are mediocre and not of good quality. There are better and more affordable places in the country. The price is not exactly fair either.

Rustic place, well-stocked counter, friendly staff. We ordered two sandwiches, which were very good, and reasonably priced, perhaps a little too high.

The restaurant is rustic and a bit small, but the food is homemade and healthy. I recommend the first course platter with cold cuts, cured meats, and cheeses. Two people (including a first course platter for two, two beers, and two coffees) €57.

16/02/2026: Very nice and clean place. The hot chocolate was delicious, the pastries look very good, and the staff are so friendly!
16/01/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering this historic establishment during a visit to Cortona; the person I was with had lived in the historic center for many years and took me right into the bar (in fact, it was like being at home; he knew everyone 😅) for breakfast. The atmosphere was familiar and sociable, but very understated and elegant; the coffee was excellent, as was the brioche! The setting speaks for itself, as it is located "at the foot" of the imposing, historic Palazzo del Capitano. RECOMMENDED!!! ☕️ 🥐 🏰
