Chose the wrong starter for me but this is a great experience. Not the best table ( next to kitchen door and loos) but the service was so great, didn’t care. The wine list is as thick as a family bible- but plenty of reasonably priced ones. Book ahead.

Great restaurant , choose pasta over mains , but both great , lovely old school feel , hoghly recommended year after year as having one of the wolrds best wine collections , but i had the house red which was delicious . Make this a must when in verona , right in the centre of shoppi g area but tucked down a cute side street so easy to miss

We visited this restaurant last night, and the waiters immediately made us feel at ease with a very friendly welcome. The restaurant is truly beautiful and well-kept, and the wine list is extensive, with many quality options. We started with a cheese fondue as an appetizer, which was truly delicious, and then we had an Amarone risotto, which was equally excellent. A special mention goes to the waiter, Derick, who was very helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. The service made the experience even more enjoyable. This is definitely a place we'll gladly return to.

Professional, friendly and attentive without being overly formal. The staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is also special. The historic interior and the incredible wine selection create a unique experience that is hard to find elsewhere. It is not the cheapest place but it is absolutely worth the price. If I could give 6 stars, I would.... Very nice atmosphere, the staff is very knowledgeable and attentive, an extensive wine list... the dishes were truly excellent... a great end to a wonderful day in Verona. Both the aperitif and the dinner deserved 10 out of 10!! Congratulations!

High expectations and fully satisfied

What can I say? La bottega del vino never disappoints! We ate some excellent cicchetti, as well as the Soave we drank. It's a historic wine shop, so all I can say is, it's beautiful!
