We discovered this place by chance....welcomed by the very friendly owner.....Martina was able to advise us and we ate an appetizer that I thought would never end....all accompanied by good wine and a special playlist that I sang along with the other guests.

Deliberately known as an inn (or, more accurately, a shop), its strong point is its quiet location, yet very close to the Duomo. While it's more touristy during the day, in the evening it has an almost magical atmosphere, especially on winter evenings, when dining inside offers a warmth and a fragrance to be cherished, while in summer it's pleasant to converse outside, enjoying a leisurely meal. The management is aware of this, and themed evenings are available, such as birthday parties or karaoke.
The platter is a must-have, the pasta is homemade with classic Central Italian sauces, and the desserts are the most popular: profiteroles, tiramisu, and cantucci/tozzetti, best dunked in wine.

The Osteria Antica Bottega al Duomo is a really cozy place with a rustic interior and nice, warm lighting. Prices are a bit on the higher side (pasta dishes around €15–18), but the portions are fine. The Service was okay.
The pasta dishes were very tasty, and the tiramisu was light and fluffy.
I dislike that they didn’t allow one person to have a menu and one person taking a pasta plate (both or none) and can’t see the reason for that.
Another downside: not very sustainable. They use disposable table covers and single-use packaging for cutlery and napkins, which feels a bit unnecessary for such a nice restaurant.

The place is cute and quaint, the staff is friendly and well-trained. The ingredients used are typical of the area (the platter is fabulous!), and the portions are generous (we split the first course and the salad, which was enormous). The price is fair. I highly recommend it!

A very nice osteria near the Cathedral in a small street. A family atmosphere and delicious food. If you joke with the waitress, you'll get a very friendly, smiling waitress in return; we noticed she doesn't do that with everyone. After paying, you're not allowed to leave; you get a glass of wine with cantonichi cookies to dip in the wine. All in all, a very pleasant and delicious meal in a quiet street.

Alert alert - tourist trap! Chad comes out and offers you a taste of wine and cheese. Alert alert!!!
Ordered wine and never got it, and still tried to charge us. Waiters argued in front of us on whose responsibility it was.
Don’t order the veggie sandwich!!
Cheese plate looked okay - but how can anyone get that wrong?!
