It's rare for me to leave super-positive reviews, but Bettola has a lovely atmosphere, good pizza, and a professional waiter. We'll always be happy to return.

I didn't really like the pizza, but I did like the rest... the meatballs and frese were delicious! 5 stars to the young waiter who arrived whatever I asked for in a flash! (For example, water for the dog or help warming the bottle!) The terrace was beautiful.

Exceptional Fresine! Good pizzas! Excellent house red wine! Very kind and friendly service! Avoid the meatballs. Low prices!

18/10/2025: There was only one other table occupied when we went in on a Friday evening. However the menu and venue looked attractive. We were not disappointed. The gentleman who I presume was the owner was helpful and had no trouble communicating with us although we know only a few words of Italian. Some quiet jazz music added to the atmosphere. The bruschetta starter was tasty and ample to share. We both enjoyed our main courses. Value was good. A pleasant evening and felt less touristy than some of the restaurants on the main road. Would recommend.
09/09/2025: I love it here, I have visited Pisa a few times now and the food here is just unbelievable amazing, the owner is just super nice. You will be seeing me this year some time again
