Excellent popular restaurant where you can eat local home cooking! The chestnut and mushroom soup, the peposo and the oxtail, the chestnut panna cotta with must reduction, we won't talk about it... exceptional! when I return to Piancastagnaio we will see each other again!!

The food is really great, a place I recommend to everyone! The rooms are simple, welcoming and nothing is missing to stay comfortable. Manuela and the staff are always pleasant and make you feel at home. Whenever I can, I always gladly come back!

This is a restaurant in a very small town but you can clearly see that it has been managed very well for 65 years. First of all it’s family owned and this steps up the game since the quality of the service is impeccable. Everyone will pay attention to the details and help you pick the best possible dish. Consider they also do half portions so that you’ll be able to try more dishes.
The quality of the ingredients is on a different level but don’t expect too many vegetariano options, you’re in Tuscany in the end.
Last but not least, the atmosphere in the restaurant makes you feel home and is great for both dates as much as big groups of people.

Eat really well. We only ate the first courses due to commitments. Very fast, excellent first courses, and a wide choice of second courses typical of the region. Go and you will be as enthusiastic as I and my friends were

Consigliato dai locali, è un locale dall'estetica ordinaria ma con una cucina notevole. Abbiamo provato la zuppa di funghi e castagne, superlativa, poi un ottimo schiaffone (raviolone con ricotta limone e carciofi), il peposo (stracotto piccante con purè) ed un vino rosso della casa che era un Montepulciano di tutto rispetto. Il tutto a 20€ a persona, un prezzo eclatante vista la grande qualità. Il numero uno della zona, da riprovare presto

Locale gradevole con personale simpatico e competente. Ero con mia moglie e ci siamo affidati al figlio del titolare che ha suggerito alcuni assaggi e non ci siamo pentiti. Una cucina ottima davvero nulla da dire
