A family-run hotel in Schlinig, a small village in the Upper Vinschgau Valley, South Tyrol, which we visited in January. The welcome and treatment here are so warm that you immediately feel at home. The service is outstanding. We had a junior suite with a direct view of the mountains. The toilet was separate, not integrated into the shower, which we found very pleasant. A generous breakfast awaited us, ensuring a great start to the day. The five-course dinner in the evening was exquisite. The hotel's location is very quiet and serves as a starting point for numerous hikes and excursions. The Watles adventure mountain is very close by and offers skiing and hiking. We were so impressed that we booked again for next year, although we'll be there in the summer. The saying at reception is absolutely fitting: "Hard to find, hard to forget."

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED The hotel is located on mountain trails. There are furry animals (fun for children) nearby: cows and ponies. Very clean, comfortable mattresses and pillows. Large terrace with loungers and mountain views. Quiet. Beautiful.

Simply amazing! Helga is a natural hostess, full of heart and personality. We've stayed at the Anigglhof twice now and were thrilled both times. A huge compliment to the kitchen – the way to the heart is through the stomach! The rooms are always clean and well-maintained. The wellness area has everything we needed. Saskia and Maximilian

We spent four wonderful days here with friends, and we truly didn't lack for anything. Warmth and service are truly lived here! The breakfast is excellent, all regional and delicious. Dinner was always something special. All requests were met with kindness. The rooms are very tastefully furnished; we had a view of the mountains from our bed. The sauna is new and spacious, and the relaxation room is cozy and also offers a mountain view. A family-run gem at 1,700 meters of absolute tranquility. We will definitely be back! Thank you all so much❤️

We ate at the Anigglhof twice during a short vacation in the Vinschgau Valley. A beautifully decorated restaurant with excellent food. The service and hospitality were simply top-notch. Highly recommended, and definitely worth a stay.

My first time at the Aniggelhof with my best friend was simply amazing. I met Helga and the team, and they were so perfect and friendly. It couldn't be better. The food was simply fantastic. I'd love to come back. Bernadette

17/02/2026: Restaurant Panholzer on Lake Kaltern is a fantastic location. We booked a table there for my wife's birthday. The food and the staff were outstanding. Lovely atmosphere. We will definitely come back and enjoy the food again. Thank you and keep up the great work!

21/12/2025: We were here on a warm October weekend. The view, the location itself, and the food were excellent.
18/11/2025: I've been here twice: once for Törggelen, and once on a Sunday for lunch. The first time, there was a huge mix-up with the orders. Perhaps the guy taking them didn't understand, but in the end, after a round of incorrect dishes, we ate what we'd ordered. Unfortunately, due to this mix-up, one person ate a very small portion of mezzelune (about 5) because they'd brought us the menu portion, even though she'd only ordered that, and therefore the regular portion. The second time for lunch, everything went very well; there was even less confusion in the place, which I think had an impact on the first time. However, when paying, they'd added items we hadn't ordered, but the lady was kind enough to let us check before we paid. The location deserves five stars, as does the food. Perhaps the service could be improved slightly when the restaurant is busy, and the prices are a bit above average, but not by much. Anyway, I'd go back ;)
