We dined outdoors, in the open space in front of the restaurant. The place is closed on three sides by the surrounding buildings and is therefore a bit narrow. Despite this, we appreciate the excellent cuisine, especially fish-based, and the very quick and attentive service. The food was very good, with fresh, local products, even if the portions were quite small. The presentation was careful. The dessert was very delicious, followed by - as a gift from the house - a sort of digestive candy. The staff is very jovial, not at all formal, in line with a tavern.

We came back two nights in a row for this place it was amazing! The truffle pasta is a must and the tuscan steak is amazing value for the portion. Thank you to the staff for their warm welcomes and always ensuring we were satisfied. Definitely will be back and will recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food!

Great experience in this restaurant. Amazing food, italian music on the background and great staff (very fast to respond, friendly and ready to help). The best pasta I had in Italy, simple and so tasty, fresh ingredients and good amount of beef. Seabass was perfect, very fresh and served with a bed of spinach seasoned with lemon vinagreitte, a fresh, light and tasty plate. Would recommend to anyone coming to this restaurant. We also had a tomato bruschetta which was alright. Total cost came around 30€ per person including drinks.

Food was alright but the service can be better.
Mid-August 2024. Not all troubles come with a silver lining. We had booked for mid-August lunch at another establishment, which was wise not to notify us and to close for lunch and only open for dinner. Luckily there were only 4 of us and we had no difficulty finding another accommodation. Wandering around Salerno, we come across Osteria Angolo Masuccio. What can I say, we were lucky. In addition to finding friendliness and hospitality from the owner to the waiters, the dishes were also top quality. Ah, I forgot, in the end the owner of the previous structure that stood us up apologized and therefore I won't name him or give him a negative review: anyone can make mistakes.

spinach is one of my least favorite vegetables, yet somehow they got me to eat it. i got the sea bass on raw spinach, even though i was a bit skeptical of the spinach. however, when my food came out and i tried the spinach, i was hooked. they made it so good. the fish was cooked to perfection and it was very simple yet bursting with flavor. overall, this experience was one of the best and i hope to come back if i visit solerno again. also got the grilled squid and it was cooked perfectly, and once again, seasoned very simple but still amazing.

SPECTACULAR!! I didn't put 5 because there was no coffee and because the portions are
small. But I admit that it was the best meal of the trip: the swordfish with pistaccio: simply SUBLIME. We paid 75 euros: 1 glass of wine, 1 soda, 2 cokes, 1 fritata and 1 chernia and for dessert a panacotte. Excellent presentation and attention!!💪
