Angelina Cafe' In Roma

This restaurant was recommended by our B&B owner. It was fantastic. The owner greeted us and made recommendations. He was very enthusiastic about food, but not pushy at all. Everything that we had was great. Especially the appetizer plate. I had a cocktail called the Hugo that we both loved. Although there were other tourists in there with us, it's popular with locals and had a fun and creative menu. I would for sure recommend it. It was a lot of food and drink for the money.

I always come here to relax and find the perfect atmosphere. I'd like to truly thank Freddy and Alessia—I don't know all their names, but they're obviously included—for their dedication to their work and professionalism. Thank you for everything and for your perseverance and determination. Max

Very nice restaurant! I recommend to ask the owner which food he suggests because it’s his own family recipes. Service was great and food was awesome, but the servings were really big for the pasta.

Visited here last night, we were severed by the owner who was so lovely! From start to finish it was one of, if not the best meal I ate on my holiday to Rome. Definitely recommend!!

Me and my partner stayed at a hotel on the same street as this restaurant. We went in here both nights we were there. We just had drinks both times but Gullio (forgive the spelling) was an absolute treasure. Second to none in customer service. First night we drank quite a lot ( all cocktails were amazing) and he offered us complimentary veggie chips , chips and bruscetta throughout the night. The bruscetta was the best we've ever had by far. We talked with him a lot asking where we were from etc. Second night he remembered us from the day before and I had just proposed to ny now fiancé that night. He was so happy for us , he popped a bottle of champagne for us and poured us both a glass. He was genuinely heartfelt that we came back to his restaurant straight after i had proposed. I have never in my life witnessed such caring and passionate enthusiasm in this industry. All members of staff Were excellent but Gullio truly is an ambassador for the city of Roma!

A little expensive for the area 🤔

We've been there for breakfast every day during our vacation. Delicious coffee and croissants. Excellent service. Very pleasant and helpful waiters.

Il locale e’ molto carino, in stile parigino, tranquillo con musica di sottofondo. Il cibo e’ stato sublime, abbiamo assaggiato delle bruschette con crema di zucchine e guanciale, poi pasta alla gricia e tagliatelle con ragu’ di agnello e carciofi, a seguire la guancia di vitello brasato su letto di pure’, tutto ottimo! Come dolci abbiamo preso il tiramisu’ ed una coppa di crema pasticcera con biscottini secchi di vari gusti, tutto davvero buonissimo. Il personale di sala e’ stato molto gentile ed accogliente, ci ha saputo consigliare egregiamente le pietanze da assaggiare e ci ha anche offerto del prosecco per brindare dopo che ha saputo che era il compleanno di mio marito! Davvero gentile e professionale il signor Giulio!!! Torneremo sicuramente in questo ottimo ristorante!

MAGNIFICO NELLA CORTESIA, MAGNIFICO NEL CIBO, MAGNIFICO NEL LOCALE Un connubio di gentilezza e delizia in cucina che ti lascia un sorriso enorme anche molte ore dopo aver mangiato: questo è "Angelina" ‼️ Credo che il rapporto umano sia la cosa più importante e questo è in qualsiasi tipologia di lavoro e qui estrema gentilezza, cortesia e disponibilità la fanno da padrone...ma poi, "se ordini la guancia come portata di secondo e cavolfiore come contorno", allora ti rendi conto che la perfezione, in tutto e per tutto esiste. La mia seconda volta da ANGELINA conferma la mia prima... Piatti che meriterebbero davvero le stelle, altro che quelli dei ristoranti trovati sulle guide.... Sapori ricercati ed esclusivi contraddistinguono questo locale, ed il modo in cui vengono serviti è unico. E a chi recensisce polemizzando su prezzi e grandezza ridotta delle portate dico solo una cosa: state bene ai vari "all you can eat"...qui c'è l'alta qualità e, a mio parere , si spende pure poco...al di là del fatto che questa cosa non corrisponde minimamente a verità.. i piatti sono squisiti e abbondanti. Un tacos di agnello, una guancia in salsa, una puntarella, un cavolfiore in salsa di parmigiano, un calice di bollicine all'inizio per occupare l'attesa ed un biscottino a fine serata offerti da un signore gentilissimo e la magia è servita. Se io non fossi così lontano da Roma, una volta a settimana, "Angelina" per me sarebbe tappa fissa. Grazie infinite e a presto. Daniele
