Good service and a (very large and) charming place; the food was average in taste and quality. Nothing unpleasant, absolutely, but each dish was quite modest: from the shrimp catalana to the (fried!) empanadas, from the octopus with creamed escarole to the fish soup.
It's a trattoria in terms of quantity, but not in terms of prices (€3 per person, for example, for dinner on paper placemats).

The food was very good, but the staff was really rude, annoyed, and disinterested. The dishes were very good, the quality was high, and the flavors were well-balanced. The place is cute, with beautiful maritime-themed decorations.

Delicious food, fresh fish, and a large risotto that's delicious. The €30 menu is also excellent.
Beautiful location, and the staff, including the owner, are truly friendly.

I went for my mother's birthday. It was a truly beautiful place. The food was tasty and plentiful, with a good selection, fair prices, and excellent quality.

How sad…
I've always considered (and recommended) this seafood trattoria, with its beautiful decor reminiscent of the sea… a place to eat well at fair prices.
I returned today, and unfortunately, it was almost entirely negative…
The pan of scialattielli, their signature dish among the first courses (and rightly so), has always been spectacular, but it arrived tasteless and insipid! The fish soup with rubbery squid… Seafood risotto was barely adequate… Soft tiramisu, which, just looking at it, would have made you feel even better… I'm sorry to write this. I consider the Trattoria Amo one of the best places to eat seafood in the area, and I hope it was just a bad day for the chef…

The rustic atmosphere is very charming, both in winter and summer, with a terrace. The staff is always friendly, and the food is a sure thing. I've eaten there a couple of times, and the quality is truly excellent, plus the prices are very affordable. Some might find the menu a bit of a downside, as it's not overly long and complex. In my opinion, simplicity wins, and the deals are very good. Highly recommended!
